LemonSwan dating: premium packages, starter fee, cancellation and cashback
LemonSwan is an online matchmaking service for people looking for a long-term partner, available in German-speaking countries and several others. Since it is a membership and not a webshop, shipping does not matter. What counts is what is free, what Premium costs, how long the contract runs and how you withdraw or cancel. Free membership and Premium
Registration is free, and so is the short evaluation from the personality test and the first unbinding partner suggestions. The ID check is free for all members too. Contact with other members is the paid part. As a Basic member you can answer a personal message only once, while Premium members exchange messages without limit, see who visited their profile and filter suggestions by distance. Every new profile is checked by hand by the team, and photos stay blurred for others until you release them.
What Premium costs
The pricing page shows four terms. The minimum term decides the price: 1 month from 99.90 EUR, 6 months from 29.90 EUR, 12 months from 19.90 EUR and 24 months from 14.90 EUR. The prices exclude possible surcharges for the payment method, such as monthly or quarterly payment. On top comes a one-off starter package of 139.95 EUR, which the page describes as a service fee that is charged once when the contract is concluded. A profile optimisation, which members with a Basic or a Premium membership can book at any time on top of everything else, costs 99.95 EUR. Single parents get a free six-month Premium membership.
LemonSwan gives a contact guarantee for Premium: if you make fewer than the stated minimum number of contacts, the membership is extended free of charge. The terms state that LemonSwan only provides the contact opportunity and does not owe a successful match.
Withdrawal and cancellation
You may withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, and you can declare it in your profile settings or through the withdrawal form on the site. The starter package is performed right at the start and is excluded from withdrawal, according to the terms. For cancelling, the notice period depends on the product terms you confirmed when ordering, and the order confirmation email repeats it. Use the cancellation page linked in the footer, ideally logged in through the customer centre, and have your contract number and service password ready. Cashback on your membership
Open the LemonSwan page at daily cashback, where the current cashback (up to 17.5%) is shown. Press the shop button, then sign up as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once LemonSwan has reported the order. If you withdraw, the cashback is deducted. Keep other cashback and voucher sites closed while you sign up, since a later click can replace the first one.
