How to order from Hoover Direkt with cashback
Go through the shop page first and put the machine into the basket afterwards. A disabled ad blocker helps, a second window with other price sites does not. The price in the shop stays as it is. In the free account the purchase is listed as pending first, and the seller confirms it once it has reviewed the order. How long that takes is on the shop page.
If you return the machine, the credit for the purchase falls away. That includes the 14-day right of return that Hoover grants. For a code from an outside source, look at the shop page conditions beforehand.
Range
Hoover Direkt shows cordless, upright, wet and dry, and mite vacuums in its navigation, plus robot vacuums and stain cleaners. Dyson carries hair care and room climate devices beside vacuums, and its selection guides run from cordless vacuums to hair care. Only the vacuums that exist on both sites count for this comparison.
Warranty and repair
Hoover writes on its FAQ page that all devices come with a free 2-year warranty. For the cordless vacuums of series HF2 and HF4 it is three years, for HF9 and HFX five. Anyone who wants the extended warranty beyond two years must register on the warranty website. On top, the statutory warranty of 24 months from purchase applies. You start repairs through the online form that Hoover offers as a repair request.
Dyson names 2 years of warranty on its start page. The detailed warranty terms sit there as a separate document to download. How long each part is covered is stated in it.
Delivery, payment and returns
Both deliver free in Germany within 1 to 2 working days, at Hoover for orders placed by noon on working days, by DHL. Under its own delivery terms Hoover Direkt delivers inside Germany only. You can pay there with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Klarna. Dyson names instalments through Klarna or PayPal.
Hoover takes goods back within 14 days of receipt. You fill in the contact form, get a return label and hand the parcel to DHL in the original box. The refund takes 3 to 5 working days after arrival and returns by the payment route you chose when buying, if the order is at most 3 months old. When you buy direct from Dyson, it gives a 30-day return period for sealed products and asks you to activate the warranty. Costs and exceptions are in the return conditions, and devices bought from a retailer are excluded.

Who suits what
Hoover Direkt suits you if you want to keep a machine for years and the longer warranty on the cordless series counts, if cashback should come along and you live in Germany.
Dyson suits you if you want more time to try before deciding: 30 days of returns are longer than the 14 at Hoover. That is a real advantage for buyers. That route earns no cashback from us.

We recommend Hoover Direkt if warranty length and cashback matter more to you than the longer return period. Check before buying which series you order, because five years apply only to HF9 and HFX and only with registration.
