CURRYSMARTER: delivery countries, shipping cost, returns and warranty
CURRYSMARTER sells smart home switches, sockets and sensors, for example roller shutter switches, ZigBee devices and Tasmota models. The shop ships from Germany and delivers to eleven countries. Here is what its shipping, return and warranty pages say, translated for readers outside Germany.
Delivery countries and where it ships from
The shipping page lists Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, New Zealand, Malta, Portugal and Luxembourg. Parcels start in Bremen, Germany, and the shop names Amazon (Swiship) and 4PX (DHL) as logistics partners. Because items can come from different warehouses, an order may arrive in several parcels, each with its own tracking number. The tracking email contains the number, which you enter on the carrier website.
Shipping cost and delivery time
Standard shipping costs 3.15 euro for the whole of Europe, and orders from 30 euro ship free. Processing takes about one working day, around holidays about two, and the shop adds that orders placed after noon on Friday wait until Monday. Delivery then takes 3 to 5 working days. Outside Germany the shop warns that it can take a few days longer. Weather and holidays can also cause delays.

Returns, exchanges and cancelling
The return policy works in stages. Before dispatch you can cancel for a full refund to the original payment method. Within 30 days of receipt you can return an item without giving a reason, and the shop covers the return costs. Within 90 days you can swap an item for a similar one without giving a reason. In that case you pay the return shipping, and the shop pays for sending the replacement. Within 180 days an exchange for a justified reason is possible, such as a quality or function fault, and the shop pays all shipping. Photos or videos are needed for this.
The item must be undamaged, in the original packaging and with all accessories. The original shipping charge is only refunded if the shop made a shipping error. Processing a return takes about a week. The policy applies to purchases made on the shop itself, not to those from Amazon, which follow Amazon's rules.
Warranty and payment
Orders on the official site get a three-year warranty automatically. Purchases on Amazon carry 30 to 90 days, which you can extend to three years by registering on the shop site. Tasmota devices, temperature and humidity sensors and gateways have a fixed two-year warranty. Payment is by PayPal or credit and debit card. The checkout has a field for a voucher code, only one code per order is allowed, and codes cannot be combined.
Using cashback

In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return period. A returned item is deducted again.
