Trek-Expert Spain: shipping rates for each country and the 30-day return

Trek-Expert is an outdoor retailer with clothing, footwear and equipment for hiking, trail running, running, climbing, water sports, winter sports and fishing. The Spanish store at trek-expert.es is priced in euro and sends parcels well beyond Spain. If you live elsewhere in Europe, the questions are what your country pays for shipping and how long you have to send things back.

Countries and shipping rates

The shipping page of the Spanish store lists a flat price per country, with a cheaper rate for pickup points where the shop offers them. Typical prices for delivery to the door:

Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Ireland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Greece, Monaco and Liechtenstein are on the same list, as are Turkey, Iceland, Gibraltar and a number of Balkan and Baltic countries. The dearest regular rate for shipping is 25.99 euro, with Liechtenstein slightly higher. Large or heavy items can add shipping costs that only appear at the delivery step of checkout.

How long a parcel takes

You have until 15:00 Paris time to order. The shop quotes 1 to 2 working days to prepare the order and 2 to 6 working days for delivery. The product page repeats the dispatch time under the add to basket button and updates it when you change the size. For tracking, the shop links to the sites of Chronopost, Colissimo, Colis Prive, DPD, FedEx, Geodis, GLS and PostNord.

Sending items back

The return window is 30 days from the day the order is delivered. Products must be unused, in the original packaging and with the label attached, so try shoes on indoors. Customised items such as shirts with a printed name or skis with fitted bindings cannot go back. Open the returns area from your account or follow the link on the order, then identify the order, choose a reason, select the items and accept the terms. Return shipping is yours, and the shop does not refund it. For a faulty or non-matching product, customer service can issue a prepaid label after checking. After approval you have 15 days to post the parcel to the French return address in Montlouis-sur-Loire. The refund of a withdrawal follows within 14 days, either to the original payment method or as a credit note valid for 12 months.

Paying

The payment page names bank transfer, cards, Apple Pay and PayPal, where PayPal offers payment in three instalments without interest. Some methods depend on the billing country, and the checkout shows what is available to you.

Using cashback
