The TeaBook: where it ships, how rates work and what you can return
The TeaBook sells tea in giftable packaging and storage boxes for tea bags, run as a father and son business in the United States. If you live outside the US, or buy for someone who does, the useful questions are where it ships, how rates are worked out and what you can send back. The tea itself cannot be returned, which matters for gifts.
Where The TeaBook ships
The shipping page says orders go to the United States, Canada, Australia and the UK. A second policy page of the shop uses broader wording and says it can ship to virtually any address in the world, excluding the Crimea region of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria, with limits on some products. The two pages do not match, so type your address in the cart: the shipping quotes you get there are the answer for your country.
Shipping rates and free delivery
Many items are charged by weight, and the weight is on each product page. The shop rounds every weight up to the next full pound, as the carriers do. At the moment the homepage promises free US shipping on orders of $75 or more. That offer is for the US, so a parcel to Canada, Australia or the UK is priced in the cart. You choose the carrier service when you check out, and the shop states that only FedEx Overnight is guaranteed. All other delivery dates are estimates from the carrier.
Dispatch and delivery
The shop generally ships within 1 to 2 days when the order is placed from Monday to Friday, and most orders placed early on a weekday leave the same day. Orders from a weekend or a federal holiday go out on the next working Monday. If a parcel has not arrived 7 days after the shipping confirmation email, write to [email protected] with your name and order number.

Returns and refunds
Food cannot be returned. That means the tea, and the shop also excludes masks, both for safety reasons. Other new, unopened items can go back within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. You pay the return postage, unless the return is the shop's fault, for example a wrong or defective item. To start, send the order number and details through the contact page, and the shop replies with instructions.
Plan for a long wait on the money. The shop says to expect the refund within four weeks of handing the parcel to the carrier. That period adds up as 5 to 10 business days for the parcel to reach the shop, 3 to 5 business days for processing and 5 to 10 business days at your bank. Many refunds arrive faster.
Points for repeat buyers
A logged-in account earns 5 loyalty points per dollar spent, and every 100 points are worth $1 off a later order. The checkout shows the payment methods available for your country.
Cashback at The TeaBook
Open the TeaBook page at daily cashback and press the shop button. The page lists the current rate (5%) and the offers we check every day. In your free account the cashback starts as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has approved the order. If you send something back, the cashback for it is deducted. The page is the US one, so read its conditions if you order for delivery abroad.
Practical tips
- Add your address in the cart before you commit, as it settles which shipping options exist for you.
- If a gift tea might not suit the receiver, remember that opened or unopened tea cannot come back.
- Use only offers listed on the TeaBook page at daily cashback, since a promo code from another site can cost you the cashback.
