Moosehill: free shipping, delivery times, 30 day returns and cashback
Moosehill is a US online store for outdoor clothing, and it sells to customers in many regions. Its policy pages promise free standard delivery everywhere, but the delivery time they give is long, so it pays to read them before you order. Here is what the shipping and refund pages say.
Shipping options and cost
For all regions the shop provides free standard delivery. You can also pay for a faster service. The shipping page lists two options:
- Standard shipping: free, 10 to 20 days.
- Fast shipping: $3.99, 7 to 15 days.
The price shown is described as the final shipping cost for the customer. Free delivery does not cover Alaska, Guam, Hawaii and Puerto Rico, where a remote area delivery fee of $2 is charged.
The banner at the top of the shop says free shipping with 2 to 5 days in the US, which is faster than the 10 to 20 days in the policy. Treat the policy as the rule and check the delivery estimate in your basket before paying.
Dispatch and tracking
Orders are usually dispatched within 1 to 2 business days of payment. The warehouse works Monday to Friday, and national holidays close it. After dispatch you get a tracking link. If an item is out of stock, the shop sends what is available at once and the rest when it returns. An address can be changed at any time before dispatch, and a cancellation is accepted until then too.
If a parcel takes longer than forecast, contact the shop so it can investigate. A damaged parcel should be refused from the courier if possible, and you then write to customer service.
Taxes and import duties
Sales tax is already in the displayed prices. For international shipments the shop says import duties and taxes are pre-paid, so you pay no additional fees when the parcel arrives in the destination country.
Returns and refunds
You can apply for a return within 30 days of receiving your items. They have to be unused, in the condition you received them and in the original packaging. Write to the shop through the contact page and describe the problem first. Do not send the return to the address printed on the parcel, because it is not the return address.
If you simply changed your mind, you pay the return shipping, and the cost depends on the carrier you choose. If the goods are damaged or wrong, you do not pay return shipping and no restocking fee is charged. Once the return has been inspected, the shop emails you, and an approved refund goes to your card or original payment method within 7 business days.
Payment
The payment page names PayPal and Visa or Mastercard credit cards. The card is charged when the order ships, and 3D Secure applies.

Using cashback
Open the Moosehill page at daily cashback, where the current rate is shown as 5%. Press the shop button, then order and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has approved the order. A returned product reduces the cashback for that item.
