Shopping at Kastner & Öhler: shipping by country, returns and cashback
Kastner & Öhler is an Austrian department store group from Graz. Its online shop sells fashion, shoes, cosmetics, home goods and sports equipment, and it ships to more countries than most department stores do. The shop lists 13 countries: Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Croatia, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, the Czech Republic and Hungary. One passage says delivery to addresses in 11 countries, so the number on the page is not consistent. The list is what the shop prints.
Not every country is served from the same shop. For Belgium, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary you order from the Austrian shop. For Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain the shop asks you to switch to the matching country shop.

The PlusCard offer applies from a minimum order value of 39 euros. For Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland and Spain the table gives only the free threshold, so the cart shows what applies below it. Bulky goods that travel by freight forwarder have their own prices: 69 euros for Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, 99 euros for Germany, 119 euros for France, Italy and Switzerland and 139 euros for Spain. Bulky goods are delivered to the kerb only, and returning them costs you money.
Delivery time
The shop says you usually receive the order within 3 to 6 working days. In Austria the Austrian Post delivers, bulky goods go with Gebrüder Weiss, the Post or DHL, and other EU countries are served by partners of the Austrian Post. Partial deliveries are possible. Inside Austria, Click & Collect sends the order to a branch for free, where it waits 6 working days and is paid on pickup.
Returns
You can send back unused goods in new condition within 30 days of receipt. Return shipping is free from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain, except for bulky goods. From Belgium, Croatia, Luxembourg, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary you pay the postage yourself under the rules of your local postal service. Use the label that came with the parcel and put the filled-in return slip inside. Gift cards are excluded.
The refund goes back by the way you paid and can take up to ten working days, depending on your bank. A parcel cannot be exchanged by post. You return the item and order the other one again. In Austria you can also hand the parcel in at a branch, and the money is refunded on the spot.
Payment
The payment FAQ lists purchase on account and flexible instalments through Klarna, credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Diners), Sofortüberweisung through Klarna, Amazon Pay, Apple Pay and PayPal, plus payment at the branch with Click & Collect. The shop is made for private customers, so invoices without VAT are not available.
Using cashback

In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed after Kastner & Öhler has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.
