Ecovacs online shop: country stores, free shipping limits, returns and warranty

Ecovacs makes robot vacuum cleaners (Deebot), window cleaners (Winbot), the Goat lawn mower and the Ultramarine pool cleaner. The brand runs its online shop as separate country sites, each with its own shipping page, and the terms differ slightly from one country to the next. ecovacs.com has shipping policies for Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, plus a German FAQ and a warranty page. Check the policy of your own country before you order.

Which countries have a shop

The country selector lists many European sites, among them Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, plus sites in Asia Pacific. A shipping page with delivery details exists for Germany, Austria, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. For the other shops, check the shipping information on the site. A shop delivers to its own country. The German shop, for instance, ships anywhere in Germany except islands, parcel shops and pickup stations, and the Dutch one excludes the islands Texel, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Schiermonnikoog.

Delivery time and free shipping

All five policies quote 2 to 8 working days (3 to 8 for France), with UPS or DHL as the carrier. The German FAQ adds that processing takes 1 to 3 working days and the parcel then arrives about 3 to 5 working days after dispatch. Pre-orders follow the date on the product page. Shipping is free from a basket value of 30 euros in Germany, Austria and France, and from 40 euros in the Netherlands and Belgium, counted after vouchers and points are deducted. Below that, the German FAQ names 4,90 euros per parcel including VAT. Orders with several items can arrive in more than one parcel.

Returns, cancellation and warranty

Items bought on the official Ecovacs site can be returned without conditions within 30 days of purchase. Get in touch with customer service by email within 7 days of delivery, and the team guides you through the return. If the item comes back damaged, you pay delivery and return. For a quality defect the shop covers the return, so quote your order number early. Refunds or replacements start once the goods are checked and usually take 5 to 7 working days. Before dispatch you can cancel at no cost, and after dispatch you can refuse the delivery without extra charges.

The manufacturer warranty is 2 years for the devices and the battery, 3 years for the Goat mower with 2 years on its battery, and 2 years for the Ultramarine. It covers private use in the EU and applies only in the European country where you bought the device. It does not apply in Greece, Belarus, Liechtenstein and Russia, and wear parts such as blades and brushes are excluded. Keep the invoice.

Payment

The German FAQ lists Klarna Pay Later, Afterpay, PayPal, Google Pay and Apple Pay. Registering as a customer brings a 5 percent discount on the first order of accessories.

Using cashback
