Shopping at Daunenstep: delivery countries, shipping, returns and cashback

· 2026-10-06

Daunenstep is a down bedding maker from South Tyrol, with its head office in Auna di Sotto near Bolzano and production in Arco. The shop sells duvets, pillows, toppers and linen and delivers to a long list of European countries. We read the terms of sale, the returns page and the FAQ on daunenstep.com in October 2026 and collected what matters for an order from abroad. Check the checkout before you pay, the shop can change its terms.

Delivery countries

According to the terms the shop delivers to Italy, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, the Czech Republic, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Hungary. The UK and the USA are not on the list. Switzerland is excluded as well: Swiss customers are pointed to the forwarding service MeinEinkauf.ch, which gives you a German address in Konstanz and brings the parcel across the border. Mattresses are sold within Italy only.

Shipping cost and delivery time

Shipping inside Italy costs 6 € up to an order value of 149,99 €. Abroad the shop charges 9 € in shipping up to the same value. From 150 € the delivery is free everywhere. Prices are in euro and include VAT.

The shop says orders normally leave within 1 to 2 working days. In Italy delivery then takes 24 to 48 hours, in the rest of Europe 3 to 4 working days. The courier is Bartolini (BRT), and the parcel may be handed to a nearby Fermo Point pick-up location instead of your door. Pick-up at the company site is not possible. Please choose an address where someone can accept the parcel and add a phone number.

Returns and guarantee

You have 14 days from receiving the last item to withdraw without giving reasons. Send an explicit statement by email or letter, then return the goods complete and in good condition, preferably in the original packaging. The direct cost of the return is yours. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of the notice. Custom-made or clearly personalised goods are excluded.

The legal guarantee for defects is 24 months, and you need the receipt. For down duvets and quilts Daunenstep adds 8 years on top, so 10 years in total. Report a defect by email within 2 months of discovering it.

Payment

The terms and the FAQ list credit card, PayPal, Sofort by Klarna, bank transfer, cash on delivery and Klarna. Bank transfer orders ship after the money arrives. Cash on delivery is accepted for orders below 4980 €, with a 6 € fee, and is not available for gift vouchers.

Using cashback

Open the Daunenstep page page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3.5%) and the offers we found are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button there, then order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once Daunenstep has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.

A few practical tips

  • The shop does not run sales, it says it keeps a stable price. Do not wait for a drop, compare sizes and warmth levels instead.
  • A basket just under 150 € pays the 9 € shipping abroad, so check whether a pillow or a linen set makes sense.
  • Swiss customers should register with MeinEinkauf.ch before ordering.
  • Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker so the click is not lost.
