Ordering from Dogado: contract term, cancellation and withdrawal
Dogado is a hosting company based in Dortmund, Germany. It sells web hosting, domains, WordPress hosting, servers, Microsoft 365 and online advertising. Nothing is shipped, so the questions that count are different: how long a contract runs, how you cancel, how you pay and what happens if you change your mind. The details below come from the company's terms and its withdrawal page.
Who it is for and where it runs
The site and the terms are in German, and prices appear in euros. The menu lists hosting and domains, servers, business tools and managed cloud. Domains such as .de, .com, .at and .net are offered. WordPress hosting is described with a server location in Germany. The shop is available through the German market page at daily cashback.
Contract length and cancellation
The contract term is set in the offer you choose. A contract renews by its own term unless you cancel in time. For consumers, the terms give a notice period of one month to the end of the minimum term. If you miss it, the contract continues for an indefinite period, and after the minimum term a consumer can cancel at any time with one month's notice.
A cancellation must be in text form with your name, customer number and the contract. A message sent from the customer centre counts, and the site also offers a free cancellation form in its help area. Domains are handled separately: to cancel a registration as well, tell the company in writing that the domain should be deleted, and do it four weeks before the registration period ends.
Withdrawal and money-back
Consumers can withdraw from a contract within fourteen days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day the contract is concluded. If you asked for the service to begin during that period, you pay an appropriate amount for what was already provided. Dogado also gives a 30-day money-back guarantee on its virtual servers (VPS), so you can test one before committing.
Payment and invoices
By default you authorise the company to collect fees by direct debit. The terms add that credit card, PayPal or bank transfer may be offered as well. Fixed fees are due in advance, and an electronic invoice is available in the customer area at no charge. Posting a paper invoice can add a shipping fee of up to 5 € per invoice. Price changes need at least six weeks' notice before a new term starts.

Using cashback
Open the Dogado page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 20%) and the latest offers are listed, and press the shop button. Then order as usual. The cashback shows as pending in your free account and becomes confirmed once Dogado has reported the order. If you withdraw or cancel inside the period, the cashback for that order is deducted.
Practical tips
- Note the minimum term and the cancellation date when you order, because a missed deadline extends the contract.
- Prices on the site include VAT, and offers are limited in time and partly tied to minimum terms.
- Check whether the displayed price is a first-term offer before you compare it with other hosts.
- Keep the contract number ready, since cancellations and support requests ask for it.
