Shipping: when it is free at Lentiamo and Mister Spex
At Lentiamo, shipping with DHL GoGreen or GLS costs €3.90, and it is free from €74 order value. Shipping to a GLS parcel shop or locker costs €3.40. For a rush order pick DHL Express: parcels under 1 kg carry €9.90 shipping, and the shop quotes 1 to 2 working days if you order and pay by 13:15. DHL Express does not deliver on Saturdays, according to Lentiamo.

Mister Spex ships contact lenses free from €39 order value, below that shipping is €3.95. Glasses with lenses fitted ship free of charge. Delivery time depends on the lenses: not every strength is in stock, and for rare values Mister Spex orders from the manufacturer. The expected delivery time is shown in the product details.
Exchange and returns
This is where the two shops differ most. Lentiamo offers a 365 day exchange guarantee: if your values change, you swap complete, unopened packs bought within that period. You only pay for the return label. The guarantee starts once the statutory withdrawal period has ended. In its terms Lentiamo also names a 30 day return right, and for glasses it states 30 instead of the usual 14 days.
Mister Spex offers a money-back guarantee of 30 days on every product, even glasses made in your prescription. Returns are free, and you get the label in your customer account or as a guest with your order number and email address. Items must be unused, and for lenses and care products the seal stays closed.
Subscription, payment and discount codes
Both shops run a lens subscription. The Lentiamo subscription gives a 3% discount on lenses you order regularly, and you can change the date and delivery address or postpone the shipment. Mister Spex names a 10% discount from the second delivery, an interval of 1 to 7 months, free delivery and a subscription without a minimum term.
Payment is easy at both. Lentiamo offers invoice from the second order, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and prepayment. Mister Spex names invoice, direct debit, PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay and prepayment. At Mister Spex only one discount code works per order, and it cannot be combined with other promotions.
How cashback works at Lentiamo
Before you order at Lentiamo, open Lentiamo at daily cashback (German-language page) and then buy without a break in the same browser window. In your account the booking first appears as pending until the shop has checked it. The shop pays no cashback on goods you send back. Our advice: put the same lenses in both baskets and compare the final price, shipping and delivery time. You get the values of your lenses from an optician or eye doctor. A glasses prescription is not enough, according to Lentiamo.
