Velo-Store NL: price list by country, returns and cashback

Velo-Store is an online shop for cycling: bikes, helmets, parts, clothing and workshop tools. The Dutch store at velo-store.nl is written in Dutch, but its price list covers dozens of countries, and the customer service sits in France. That price list is the most useful page for anyone ordering from the UK or elsewhere in Europe, so this guide starts there.

Shipping by country

Velo-Store does not work with one flat rate. Each country has its own carrier and price, in euros, and many countries add a cheaper pickup point option. The shipping page lists these examples:

Processing and delivery time

Orders placed before 15:00 (Paris time) are processed in 1 to 2 working days, and delivery takes 2 to 6 working days after that. The product page shows the delivery time for each item directly under the add-to-basket button, and the figure updates when you pick a different size. Heavy or large items can carry extra delivery costs, which show up in your basket.

Returns

You have 30 days from receiving the order to start a return. Items have to be in the original packaging with the labels still on, and clean and unused. Personalised products cannot be returned or exchanged. You start the return in the shop's return area, where you enter the name and order number, choose the reason and confirm that the items were never worn or used.

Return postage is your cost and is not refunded. If an item is defective or does not match the order and customer service confirms it, a prepaid label covers the return instead. Once the return is accepted, you have 15 days to send the parcel to the French returns address. Velo-Store does not swap items directly: return the original and place a new order. Refunds go to the original payment method, or you can choose store credit valid for 12 months.

Payment and contact

The payment page lists bank transfer from a minimum order of €300, iDEAL, bank card, Apple Pay and PayPal; some depend on your billing country. Customer service can be reached by phone on +33 1 86 47 62 58 and through the contact form. Goods fall under the legal two-year conformity guarantee.

Using cashback

Open the Velo-Store page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 3.5%) is listed next to the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once Velo-Store has reported the order. A returned item reduces the cashback for that item.

Practical tips

  • In the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, France and several other countries a pickup point saves around €0.50 to €1.50 shipping, but check that one is near you. Germany is the exception, where home delivery is cheaper.
  • Choose the size first, then read the delivery time under the basket button.
  • Start a return only once you have tried the item at home, since return postage is yours.
  • Finish the order in one visit and keep other cashback and voucher sites closed, because a later click can replace the first.
