Shopping at Sedley: UK delivery, international shipping to Europe, returns and cashback
Sedley is a UK fashion brand that sells through its own online shop. Anyone ordering from the UK or from another European country should know three things before checkout: what delivery costs for the chosen country, who pays the duties, and what a return costs. Delivery in the UK
Standard delivery takes 1 to 2 days with Royal Mail Tracked 48 and costs £2.95 shipping. Orders over £50 get free UK delivery. Sedley sends a confirmation email when the order ships, with a tracking link to the Royal Mail website. The shop points out that anyone at the delivery address may sign for the parcel, and that it is not liable for an order signed for in a building such as an office.
International delivery
The shop lists an International Delivery service for orders under €150. It names these countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden. A second list on the page adds Switzerland. All other countries in the EU and America are covered by an Extended EU and US service, while the page also says it cannot currently ship outside the EU or EEA because of tax and duties. If your country is in doubt, select it in the shop and look at the cart.

Taxes and duties
Sedley ships on a DDP basis, Delivery Duty Paid. That means the relevant import taxes and duties are already included in the final price you pay. Select your location first so that you see the local pricing, delivery times and shipping costs for your market. VAT applies to orders dispatched within the UK, excluding the Channel Islands.
Returns and refunds
Items should go back within 30 days of receiving the order. They have to be new and unused, in perfect condition, with all SEDLEY tags, packaging, accessories and dust bags. For UK orders there is a prepaid returns service with Royal Mail: print the label from the returns portal, cover the original delivery labels, add the returns note with your order number and post the parcel. Keep the proof of postage. The shop is currently trialling a £1.99 return shipping fee for returns made through the portal, deducted from your refund. Overseas customers use a courier of their own choice at their own cost, as there is no prepaid return service outside the UK. The refund goes back to the original payment method and can take up to 10 working days to show up. Late returns may be accepted at Sedley's discretion, but may be refunded as website credit only. For hygiene reasons, opened underwear and swimwear and accessories without original packaging are not returnable.
Using cashback
Open the Sedley page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) and the offers are listed with the date of the last check. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once Sedley has reported the order. A returned item is deducted again.
Practical tips
- If your UK basket is just under £50, compare the £2.95 shipping with the price of one more item. An item you return does not count for the cashback.
- Outside the UK, return shipping is your own cost, so check size and tags before you order several sizes.
- Keep other cashback and voucher sites closed while you shop. A later click can replace the first one, and a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
