Shopping at Puzzle Master: worldwide shipping, delivery times and returns
Puzzle Master is a puzzle shop based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, selling metal and wire puzzles, Japanese puzzle boxes, Rubik's cubes, jigsaws and games. The shop says it ships worldwide, and it publishes a transit time for almost every shipping method it uses. That makes planning an order easy.
Where Puzzle Master ships
According to the FAQ, products go out worldwide. To see whether your country is available, add an item to the cart and pick your country in the cart. Canadian customers also enter a postal code and US customers a zip code. International customers enter just the country. The cart then shows an estimate of the shipping cost before you type in any personal details.
Shipping cost and free shipping
Costs are calculated from the weight and size of the parcel, and most orders travel with Canada Post. Orders of $99 or more shipped to Canada or the USA qualify for free shipping. This is limited to Canadian and continental US addresses, and international addresses are not eligible. The shop says you need to enter its free shipping coupon at checkout, which is shown on the shop's free-shipping page. Because that is a code, read the cashback note at the bottom before you use it.
Dispatch and delivery times
Orders from Monday to Friday are dispatched the same day, and orders after 1 pm Saskatchewan time go out the next business day. Weekend and holiday orders ship the next business day. The estimated transit times by service are:

- USA Priority Mail: 1 to 3, Xpresspost: 2 to 5, Expedited: 4 to 7, Tracked Packet and Airmail: 5 to 10

- International Tracked Packet, Parcel Air and Air Mail: 7 to 11
- International Surface Mail and Parcel Surface: 20 to 60 business days
The shop adds that the long surface mail time is not a misprint. Pick the surface option only if the puzzle is not urgent and the price difference matters.

Taxes and import charges
Orders outside Canada may be subject to taxes and import charges. The shop states that these are the responsibility of the buyer, so a UK or EU order can end up costing more than the cart shows.
Returns
You can return an item within 30 days of purchase if it is in its original, unused condition. Email [email protected] first to get approval for the refund, then mail the item to the shop's address in Saskatoon, Canada, with a letter that states the reason and the original receipt. Opened items cannot be returned, and exchanges are not allowed. The original shipping and handling you paid is not refunded, and international returns therefore cost you the postage to Canada.
If a puzzle is defective, contact the shop. It can send a new one if it has stock or give a refund or gift certificate.
