Large.nl: shipping in the Netherlands, PostNL and free returns

Large is the Dutch shop for band merchandise, entertainment and gaming merch and alternative clothing. Its help pages are in Dutch, so here is a summary in English of shipping, returns and payment on large.nl, for orders going to the Netherlands.

Shipping cost and delivery

• In the Netherlands, shipping costs 4.99 EUR, whatever the size or weight of the parcel.
• Members of the Backstage Club pay no shipping costs. Membership costs 9.95 EUR per year and includes free shipping, according to the shop.
• When everything in your confirmation is in stock and you paid by PayPal, iDEAL, Klarna or card, you see a delivery date within 3 to 5 working days.
• PostNL delivers the parcels. Once the parcel is handed to the carrier, you receive an email with an option to track it.
• At checkout you can enter another delivery address or a local pickup point.

Your order is prepared and packed right after you complete the purchase, so changing it afterwards is no longer possible. It may be possible to have PostNL forward the parcel. If not, it returns to the shop and the money goes back to the original payment method automatically. If an item is missing from your order, check your invoice, since a part may be on backorder and delivered separately.

Returns

You have 30 days to return articles, and Backstage Club members have 100 days. You can withdraw within 30 days of receipt either by sending the article back or by telling the shop clearly that you want to cancel. If you tell the shop in time, you have a further 14 days to send the article back.

How the return works:

• Register in the returns portal with your order number and the postal code of your delivery address.
• Select the article and enter a reason.
• Download and print the return slip and label, put the slip in the parcel and stick on the label.
• Hand the parcel in at a PostNL point. Sending it is free.

No printer? You can create the label via PostNL in the returns portal, or write the return address on the parcel with a note with your order number, name and address, and PostNL prints a new label.

Every returned article is checked on arrival. If it turns out to be worn, damaged or otherwise unacceptable, the shop can refuse it and send it back to you. There are no exchanges: you get a refund and can place a new order. You are only liable for loss of value that goes beyond what is needed to test the goods.

Refund

Refunds go to the original payment method, except bank transfers, where the shop needs your bank details. A gift voucher used for the order is credited again. The refund is paid within 3 to 5 working days after the confirmation of receipt. Once the return has been processed, the information goes to Klarna if you paid with them.

Payment

Large accepts iDEAL, PayPal, credit cards (MasterCard and Visa), Klarna, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Klarna offers pay now, pay up to 30 days after your order has shipped, or three interest-free payments. Klarna decides on its own which options it shows you.

A Belgian shop exists

Large also has a Belgian shop, which has its own page at daily cashback: Large Belgium. This guide only covers large.nl.

Using cashback

Open the Large page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 3.5%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button and order as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Large has reported the order, usually after the return period. A returned article deducts the cashback for it again.

Stay in one visit while you order and keep other cashback or voucher sites closed, since a later click can replace the first one.
