BIBA: international shipping rates, customs and the 7-day return

BIBA is an Indian fashion label known for kurtas, suit sets and other Indian womenswear. The shop ships from warehouses in India, and it has a separate international ordering route with its own shipping rates. If you order from the UK, the USA or another country, the points below decide what the parcel really costs and how a return works.

International shipping rates

International orders are shipped from the warehouses in India by DHL. The fees are shown at checkout, and the shop lists flat rates for a few markets. Orders above the stated value ship free:

  • United Kingdom: GBP 18 shipping below GBP 110, free shipping above
  • United States: $25 shipping up to $149, free shipping above
  • Australia: AUD 40 shipping up to AUD 225, free shipping above
  • Singapore: SGD 30 shipping up to SGD 190, free shipping above
  • United Arab Emirates: AED 90 shipping up to AED 545, free shipping above

For all other countries the shop uses the same flat rate as for the USA, $25 on orders of $149 or less and free shipping above that.

Within India

Inside India, shipping is free on every order, prepaid or cash on delivery. The shop ships out in about 24 hours on average, and most locations get delivery in 48 hours on top of that. Orders of more than 5 pieces of one style can take longer. Use the check delivery option on a product page with your pin code to see the time for your address.

Customs, duties and tariffs

With international shipping, import duties and taxes can be charged once the parcel reaches your country. The shop says most orders pay nothing extra, but it cannot predict when a charge is made. DHL clears the goods through customs for you. If DHL presents an invoice, you pay DHL directly at delivery. If you refuse to pay, the shipping charges are deducted from your refund. For the USA the shop adds that new tariff rules can bring extra duties, collected by the courier at delivery.

Returns and refunds

BIBA has a 7-day return and replacement policy. You can return or replace an item if you are unhappy with the quality or the fit, or if it arrives defective. Items must be unused and in original condition, with tags and packaging intact. If you get the wrong product, ask for a replacement within 7 days, or choose a refund. Start a return by calling or emailing customer care. The refund takes 5 to 7 working days. Prepaid orders go back to the original payment method, cash on delivery orders as e-vouchers or a bank transfer in India. A platform fee is not refunded on a return.

You can cancel an order before it is dispatched by calling or emailing the shop, and the request is handled within 24 hours.

Payment

You can pay with credit or debit cards, net banking or an e-voucher. Cash on delivery is offered only where your pin code allows it. The checkout shows what is available for your address.

Cashback

Open the BIBA page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once BIBA has reported the order. A returned item is deducted from the amount. Take only the offers shown on that page, because a code from another site can cost you the cashback.
