Sending parcels abroad with Parcel ABC: countries, insurance, payment
Parcel ABC is an online platform for booking courier collections, and it works the other way round from a normal shop: you are the sender. There is no basket and no delivery to your door, so the useful questions are where it sends parcels, what decides the price, what is insured and what happens if you cancel. The answers below come from the international shipment page and the FAQ on parcelabc.com.
Where Parcel ABC sends parcels
The shop says it delivers to almost every country and works with couriers such as TNT, Parcelforce and FedEx. The FAQ names eight countries it cannot deliver to at the moment: Cuba, Ghana, Iran, Ivory Coast, North Korea, Somalia, Sudan and Syria. Collection is possible from the UK and other countries, the page mentions the USA and Australia as examples. Whether your route is covered becomes clear when you enter it into the quote form.
What decides the price
There is no price list. You enter collection and destination, weight and size, and the system offers several services by price, time and quality. According to the FAQ the price depends on weight, size, route and the delivery time you choose. The price shown includes fuel charges. For a first indication you do not need an exact postcode, but you need it for the final price.
Size matters because of volumetric weight, which the shop calculates as length times width times height divided by 6000. Carriers can use their own formula, and odd shapes such as cylinders may cost extra. Measure the parcel accurately, since a wrong weight or size can lead to additional charges.
Insurance and what is not allowed
Every parcel is insured for free up to 25 EUR. If the contents are worth more, the system offers extra insurance when you enter the value. Some items cannot be sent at all, among them tobacco, alcohol, perishable food, dangerous goods, weapons, cash and high-value items such as jewellery. The sender is responsible for the contents and the packing.
Customs, payment and cancellation
- Customs: Parcel ABC says it does not handle customs. You must know which documents the destination requires and attach them.
- Payment: credit card, an e-wallet, Paysera or PayPal.
- Account: you do not need to register; one is created automatically when you book.
- Labels: after payment you receive the order details and labels by email, then hand the packed parcel to the courier.
- Cancelling before collection: you get back what you paid, less any cancellation charges and any bonus or discount that was applied.

Using cashback
Open the Parcel ABC page at daily cashback, where the current rate is 10% and the offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button, then book as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once Parcel ABC has reported the booking. If you cancel a shipment, the cashback for it is deducted.
Practical tips
- Weigh and measure with the packed parcel, not the bare item.
- Check the destination's rules on prohibited goods before you pay.
- Complete the booking in one visit with the ad blocker off, because either can break the click.
- Close other cashback and voucher sites while you book; a later click can replace the first.
Services and conditions can change, so the quote at checkout is what counts.
