mymuesli vs Seitenbacher: Which Muesli Is Better?

· 2026-10-05

mymuesli vs Seitenbacher: Which Muesli Is Better? The answer turns on how you like your breakfast. If you like mixing your own, mymuesli is the place: by its own account the shop offers more than 70 organic ingredients to combine, and every ingredient carries the EU organic seal. Seitenbacher sells ready recipes and sits clearly lower per kilo in the examples below. We recommend mymuesli since it has its own shop page on our portal and the subscription brings a saving of at least 5 percent. Prices move, status October 2026.

Cashback at either?

We keep a shop page for mymuesli, and it sits in the Swiss country area of our portal. It lists today's rate with its terms. Seitenbacher is not part of our offer. If you order there, no credit comes from us, but you need no detour either.

Ordering with cashback

Your order begins on our shop page. Before that, disable the ad blocker and do everything in one session; the basket should not be started in another tab in between. Your price does not change because of this. In the free account the order first stands as pending. It is confirmed once the shop has completed the order, not when you submit it.

Goods you return lose their credit. If you also want to type in a discount code from another source, read the shop page conditions first, because not every code goes along with cashback.

Own mix or ready recipe

mymuesli describes itself as the world's first online supplier of individual organic muesli, since 2007. In the mixer you filter by vegan, gluten-free or no added sugar and see the nutrition values per 100 g. Its help page advises at most 5 to 6 ingredients besides the base. Your mix appears as a mix ID on the tin, which lets you reorder it. Once an order is complete the shop cannot change it, so check calmly beforehand.

Seitenbacher relies on fixed recipes such as the Fitness Mix, the Crunchy Mix or Dinos Frühstück. The maker says its wholegrain cereal, spelt and many fruits come from Germany, that it avoids artificial preservatives and adds no sugar. According to Seitenbacher the organic muesli lines contain only ingredients from organic farming.

Price, delivery and payment

As examples the shops show on their own pages: Seitenbacher lists its Fitness Mix at 8.39 € a kilo, mymuesli its Strawberry Cheesecake Muesli at 17.30 € a kilo. These are different products, and at mymuesli you pay for organic ingredients and the tin as well.

mymuesli shows in the basket that delivery is free from 59 € order value; countries and costs below that come up in the order step. Seitenbacher ships with DHL and delivers free of postage from a goods value of 25 €, otherwise a flat fee applies inside Germany. Other countries are possible after asking before you order. At Seitenbacher you pay by direct debit, PayPal or advance payment.

Subscription, returns and withdrawal

The mymuesli subscription can be ended at any time according to its help page and can be paused. You can cancel a delivery up to 7 days before dispatch. Only ready mixes are subscription products, your own mix is not among them, and buying on invoice is excluded for subscriptions.

Both give 14 days to withdraw. At mymuesli customers carry the direct cost of returning goods, at Seitenbacher the company takes it on. Here Seitenbacher is friendlier to customers. For your cashback it means the same on both: no lasting order, no credit.

Who suits what

mymuesli suits you if taste and diet should fit exactly, for instance vegan, gluten-free or low sugar, and you want to take cashback along. The subscription also pays off if you need one ready mix regularly.

Seitenbacher suits you if you want a proven recipe without experiments, watch the price per kilo and order from Germany. Cashback from us does not apply on this route.

What we recommend

We would look at mymuesli first: your own organic mix, a subscription with a lasting saving, plus a page of its own on our portal. If you only need an inexpensive standard muesli, Seitenbacher reaches the lower price per kilo. Check the total including delivery before you order.
