Buying from VIGO: US and Canada shipping, returns and cashback

VIGO sells shower doors, faucets, sinks and kitchen fixtures from vigoindustries.com. The shop delivers within the United States and to Canada, and its shipping and returns policy is long and specific. Large glass items travel by freight, and returns follow strict rules. Here is what the policy says before you order.

Where VIGO delivers

The policy promises free standard shipping on all orders within the continental United States. Shipping to Canada is calculated at checkout. VIGO does not ship to Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa), PO boxes or APO, FPO and DPO addresses. Customers outside the US and Canada have no listed option.

Shipping cost and the oversized surcharge

The banner on the policy page reads "Enjoy Free Shipping Sitewide". One exception matters for bathroom shoppers: an Oversized/Fragile Delivery surcharge of $99.00 applies to shower doors, enclosures, tub doors, screens and shower panels, because they need freight handling. Faucets, sinks and accessories are not on that list. The cart shows the surcharge before you pay, and it is not refunded if you return the item.

Processing and delivery

Orders are normally processed within one to two business days after payment is verified. Peak periods, holidays, promotions and bad weather can stretch that. The policy names no fixed transit time. You get a shipping confirmation email with tracking, and the Track Your Order page on the shop shows the status.

For freight items the carrier brings the package to the threshold of the address. It does not carry items inside, unpack or install them, so plan for help on delivery day. Check the packages on arrival. Visible damage or missing parts must be reported to [email protected] within 48 hours, and on freight items you should also note damage on the carrier's receipt. A package held at a carrier terminal is stored free for three calendar days.

Returns

A return of a non-defective item has to be started within 14 calendar days of delivery. The product must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified and in its complete original packaging, and VIGO has to approve the return before you ship it. Write to [email protected] with order number, items and reason.

  • The refund of a non-defective return loses a 15 percent restocking fee, and the return shipping is yours on top.
  • Return shipping, including insurance, is on you. A label from VIGO is possible, and its cost comes off the refund.
  • Original shipping charges, including the oversized surcharge, are not refunded.
  • Accessories such as deck plates, drains, soap dispensers and mounting hardware cannot be returned unless defective.
  • There are no direct exchanges. You return the item and place a new order.

After approval you have ten business days to ship. VIGO inspects the return within five business days and refunds to the original payment method within ten business days after that. Defective or wrong items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and for confirmed defects VIGO pays the return shipping.

Warranty and other retailers

The policy mentions a Limited Lifetime Warranty that applies regardless of where the product was bought, as long as the seller was an authorized retailer. Items bought at The Home Depot, Lowe's, Wayfair or Amazon go back to that retailer under its own rules.

Using cashback

Open the VIGO page at daily cashback, where you find the current rate (3%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then order and pay as usual. The cashback shows as open in your free account and becomes confirmed once VIGO has reported the order. Because returns are deducted, a refunded item takes its share of the cashback with it.

  • Keep the photos you take on delivery day. The 48 hour window for damage claims is short.
