Slowood Interior (NL store): shipping by country, customs and returns
Slowood Interior is an online shop for garden and outdoor furniture, home furnishings, lighting, rugs, tableware, household textiles and small appliances. This guide follows the Dutch store at slowood-interior.nl, which prices every destination country separately. If you live in Belgium, Germany, Austria, France or further afield, you can see below what the price list says for your country.
Shipping costs by country
The Dutch price list names 39 destinations. Shipping inside the Netherlands costs EUR 8.49 with Post NL to your door and EUR 6.99 to a collection point. The neighbours are close: Belgium is EUR 7.99 to a home address, EUR 7.49 to a bpost point and EUR 6.99 to a Mondial Relay point. Germany costs EUR 7.99 with Hermès, or EUR 8.49 to a DHL point. Austria is EUR 12.99 with DPD and EUR 11.49 to a pick-up point, Luxembourg EUR 9.99.
Further out the shipping prices read like this:
- France: Colis privé EUR 7.49, Colissimo EUR 7.99, pick-up points from EUR 6.49. Corsica is excluded from these rates.
- Italy: Poste Italiane EUR 8.99, pick-up points EUR 7.99.
- Spain and Portugal: Spain EUR 8.99 with CTT Express (not the Canary Islands), Portugal EUR 9.99.
- Poland, Czechia, Hungary: EUR 12.11, EUR 10.65 and EUR 11.78.
- Denmark EUR 13.38, Ireland EUR 13.99, Sweden EUR 18.54, Switzerland EUR 19.06, United Kingdom EUR 21.07, Greece EUR 21.99, Liechtenstein EUR 26.48.
- Most remaining countries on the list, among them Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and Iceland, are priced at EUR 25.99 for shipping.
France also offers next day delivery with Chronopost Express for EUR 13.99, for orders placed Monday to Thursday before 15:00.
Processing and delivery time
The order cut-off is 15:00 Paris time. Processing takes 1 to 2 working days, then delivery takes 2 to 6 working days. Each product page shows its own delivery time under the basket button and updates it when you pick another size. Heavy or bulky items can carry extra delivery costs, so look at the cart before you pay. Parcels can be tracked, for example with Chronopost.

Customs and taxes outside the EU
For customers in the EU the displayed prices include VAT. Buyers outside the EU see prices without VAT and pay local VAT when the parcel arrives, and import duties may apply. In some countries the carrier also charges a customs handling fee. The terms say that rules differ by country.
Returns
You have 30 days from receipt to start a return, and the product goes back in its original packaging with the labels intact. Personalised goods, such as skis with mounted bindings, are excluded. You request the return in the shop's return area with your name, date and order number, then pick the reason and the items. Return postage is yours, except for faulty or non-conforming goods, which travel on a prepaid label. After your request is accepted you have 15 days to send the parcel to the return address in Montlouis-sur-Loire. The refund follows within 14 days under the statutory rules, to your payment method or as a store credit valid for 12 months. Exchanges are not offered directly: return the item and place a new order.
If an order arrives damaged, write to customer service as soon as possible with photos of the item, the parcel and the shipping label. The shop answers within 48 working hours.
Using cashback
Open the Slowood Interior page at daily cashback and press the shop button. The current rate (up to 1.5%) is shown there with the offers we check each day. Then order as usual. In your free account the cashback appears as open and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order. A return reduces the amount for those items, and a code taken from another site can cost you the cashback.
