Ordering from MyCustomBobblehead: worldwide shipping, timing, returns and cashback
MyCustomBobblehead makes bobbleheads sculpted from your photos, from wedding couples and sports fans to pets and company mascots. Because every figure is made to order, shipping, timing and returns work differently from an ordinary web shop. This guide covers what the shop says about delivery worldwide, how long the process takes and what happens if something goes wrong.
Shipping worldwide at a flat rate
The shop says it delivers worldwide for a low flat fee. The exact flat shipping rate is shown on the shopping bag page before you pay. For standard and expedited shipments the preferred carriers are DHL and FedEx. The shop also states that every product is fully insured against damage during transit.
If you live outside the US, import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or the shipping cost. They are the buyer's responsibility, and the shop suggests asking your country's customs office what to expect.
How long an order takes
A figure is designed first and shipped afterwards. According to the FAQ, the standard design process takes about 4 to 6 weeks, plus delivery time, so plan on roughly 7 to 8 weeks in total unless you buy the Rush Design add-on. The estimate assumes only one revision round. Every extra revision stretches the schedule, and the shop asks for up to 8 business days between rounds.
| Step | What the shop says |
|---|---|
| Start of design | 2 to 3 business days after your photos are approved |
| Design phase | About 4 to 6 weeks |
| Total until delivery | About 7 to 8 weeks |
| Revisions of the clay proofs | Free until you are satisfied |
| Carriers | DHL or FedEx |
All communication runs by email, from photo submission to the proof approvals. Three design teams in Europe, Asia and South America work on the orders, depending on the design you choose.
Cancellations, refunds and returns
This is the part to read before you order. Since the products are personalized, the shop accepts no cancellations, refunds or store credit once the design process has started or more than 24 hours have passed since you ordered. You approve the clay proofs in writing, and a later complaint that the painted version does not look like your photos is not accepted as a reason for a refund, because the features match the approved clay stage.
Changes after the proof approval mean starting the sculpting and painting again, and the shop mentions a charge of $25 per bobblehead in that case, so check every detail of the proofs before you approve them.
If a figure arrives damaged or is the wrong design, email the shop within 24 hours of receiving the package and attach pictures. The shop then starts a duplication process of about 2 weeks, sends a prepaid label for the damaged item, and ships the replacement free of charge. This covers a replacement of the exact design, not a refund.
Payment and discounts
The shop accepts major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover and AMEX, as well as PayPal and Amazon Payments. For orders of three or more bobbleheads there are bulk discounts, which suit weddings, parties and company events. Current promotions are listed on the shop page at daily cashback.
Contact
You can write to [email protected], also for a quote before you order. By phone the shop is reachable on 857-6-BOBBLE (857.626.2253) from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm US Eastern time.
Using cashback
Open the MyCustomBobblehead page at daily cashback, where the current rate is shown (4%). Press the shop button, then design and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed after the shop has reported the order. Since the shop rarely allows returns, the amount is usually not reduced, but a replacement or refund approved by the shop is handled in line with the order. A click on another cashback or voucher site in the same visit can replace the first one.
Practical tips
- Send clear photos at the start, because the process only begins once they are approved.
- Order early for a date. Seven to eight weeks is the shop's own estimate.
- Look at every proof carefully before you give your written approval.
- Open the package the day it arrives and photograph any damage straight away.
As of October 2026. The shop can change its policies, so the shopping bag page is the last word.
