Buying ski gear at AktivWinter: shipping, returns and cashback
AktivWinter is a Danish-run ski and outdoor shop that operates separate webshops in 20 countries. The German one, aktivwinter.de, ships to German addresses, and that is the shop this guide covers. If you are in the UK, the US or elsewhere, it helps to know what the shop says about delivery, returns and payment before you pick a jacket. We read its FAQ pages in October 2026. Terms can change, so check the amounts at checkout.
Where AktivWinter delivers
aktivwinter.de is the shop for Germany and prices are in euros. The footer lists a webshop per country, among them Ireland (skisport.ie, euros) and the United Kingdom (skisports.co.uk, pounds), Austria (aktivwinter.at) and Switzerland (aktivwinter.ch, francs). For an address outside Germany, the shop of your own country is the one to use, and prices and terms there may differ.
Shipping cost and delivery time
Shipping is free from €125 of goods. Below that the price depends on the carrier and where the parcel goes. You can pick DPD or GLS, either to a parcel shop or to your door.
| Carrier | To a parcel shop | To your home |
|---|---|---|
| DPD | €7 shipping | €9 shipping |
| GLS | €9 shipping | €11 shipping |
The shop quotes 2 to 4 working days. Orders placed Monday to Thursday until 6 pm and on Friday until 5:30 pm are dispatched the same day. For speed: with GLS an order before 2 pm leaves the same day and usually arrives in 2 to 3 working days. With DPD the cut-off is 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 4:30 pm on Friday, and transit is 2 to 4 working days. If an order contains pre-order items, the shop waits until everything is available and sends one shipment.
Returns and exchanges
You have 14 days from receipt for returns and exchanges. Christmas gifts bought between 15 November and 23 December can go back until 5 January. The shop's return label costs €9 in postage, which is deducted from your refund, and it works only for parcels up to 10 kg, not for ski poles. You may also post the parcel at your own cost to the warehouse in Hammel, Denmark. Once it arrives, checking usually takes 2 to 3 working days, and the money then needs another 1 to 3 working days depending on how you paid.
If you return only part of a set, the set discount is removed and deducted from the refund. In an exchange the set discount stays. For defects the legal 24-month warranty applies, and the shop then supplies a free return label.
Payment
The shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal and Klarna. PayPal and Klarna carry a 2 % surcharge on the purchase price, which the checkout shows before you pay, so you can still switch to a card. Invoice and financing are not offered. Your card or PayPal is charged only when the whole order has shipped.
Using cashback
Open the AktivWinter page at daily cashback, where you find the current rate (2.5%) and the offers we have checked, with the date. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as pending and becomes confirmed once AktivWinter has reported the order. Returns are deducted again.
Practical tips
- If you are unsure about a size, plan for an exchange, because the €9 return label applies to every return.
- A basket just under €125 can be worth topping up, since it removes €7 to €11 in shipping.
- Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker, as either can break the click.
- Keep other cashback and voucher sites closed while you shop, because a later click can replace the first one.
