The daily cashback browser extension

What the extension does

With the extension you no longer need to check daily-cashback.info before every purchase. When you open the website of a store we list, it shows a small card in the top right corner: how much cashback there is in your country and how many coupons we know for the store. On every other website nothing happens, neither visibly nor in the background.

The extension will be available for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

How it works

Once a day the extension downloads our list of partner stores with domains, cashback rates and the number of coupons. When you open a page, it only compares the name of the website with this list, on your own computer. We do not learn which websites you visit.

The card appears at most once per store and session, floats above the page and does not push anything aside. Only when you click Activate cashback does the store open in the same tab through our partner link. Without your click the extension never calls a partner link, sets no cookies, changes no links on the page and does not enter any codes. For coupons, Copy only puts the code on your clipboard.

About partner links

If you buy after clicking Activate cashback, the store pays us a commission. We pass part of it on to you as cashback, and your price stays the same. The button only appears when the store really offers cashback in your country and the partner program allows browser extensions. For all other stores you only see the hint and the way to the store page on daily-cashback.info.

When the extension stays quiet

If another partner sent you to the store, the extension stays quiet for that store: no card, no hint, the icon stays grey, and the extension window shows no button to activate. This lasts until the end of the browser session, and at least 60 minutes. That way no other partner's click gets overwritten.

Technically the extension notices this from the redirect that opened the store page. It only reads along and blocks nothing. It holds back if any of the following applies and the click did not come from our own button:

  • The address of the store page contains a partner parameter, for example afsrc=1, awc, cjevent, irclickid, clickref, sscid, ranMID, ranSiteID, utm_medium=affiliate, tduid, partnerid.
  • The redirect went through the domain of an affiliate network, for example awin1.com, zenaps.com, anrdoezrs.net, dpbolvw.net, jdoqocy.com, kqzyfj.com, tkqlhce.com, emjcd.com, sjv.io, pxf.io, ojrq.net, evyy.net, prf.hn, linksynergy.com, shareasale.com, tradedoubler.com.
  • The referring page is a known coupon or cashback website.

The rule is the same for every user and cannot be changed remotely. The lists are built into the extension. The daily store list can only add to them, never shorten or switch them off.

What happens to your data

We only receive what a feature needs: downloading the store list without any identifier, the store name and your country when you click Coupons, the call of our partner link when you click Activate cashback, and your email and password or your Google sign-in when you sign in. The sign-in token stays in the extension storage only. There is no analytics, no advertising and no remotely loaded code.

In the settings you can switch the card off completely or hide single stores. You can read more in our privacy policy.

Install

The extension will soon be available for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. As soon as the stores have approved it, you will find the links here.
