If a parcel arrives lost, damaged or melted, you tell the shop within 24 hours of delivery, and it replaces the parcel or refunds you. zChocolat ships from France by FedEx Express to 178 countries. Orders placed before 2 PM CET leave the workshop the same working day. When the weather requires it, the box travels in an insulated container with refrigerant packs that hold 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, added automatically at no extra charge. The shop also says it may move the shipping date in summer to avoid a warm weekend in a depot.

For most destinations customs duties and taxes are part of what you pay at checkout, so your recipient has nothing to pay. In some countries the carrier collects duties on delivery, and the shop tells you before you order.
