SpyHunter by EnigmaSoft: subscription, 30-day refund, cancelling and cashback
SpyHunter is an anti-malware program from EnigmaSoft, a company with its address in Dublin, Ireland. It is sold as a software subscription through enigmasoftware.com, so the points that matter before you buy are different from a physical shop: which systems it runs on, what the plans include, how the refund works and how to cancel. The software is not shipped, so there are no delivery costs or customs.
Where and on what you can use it
SpyHunter 5 runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 (32-bit and 64-bit, Windows 11 also on ARM). The minimum hardware is a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM and 200 MB of free disk space. SpyHunter for Mac needs macOS 10.13 or higher and 250 MB of disk space. The program is available in more than 30 languages, among them English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch. In addition the company offers SpyHunter Web Security, a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox and Edge that is free. The site does not name countries where the purchase is blocked, and the checkout shows what applies to your address.
Plans
There are two subscription levels. Basic covers malware and PUP detection and removal, vulnerability scanning, system guards, custom malware fixes and one-on-one support. Pro adds optimization and privacy tools such as a file shredder, secure disk erase and a duplicate file scan. The page shows both plans with the price billed upfront, and discount offers are shown on the page too. Because the offers change, read the current price on the purchase page.

Money-back guarantee
EnigmaSoft promises a full money-back guarantee within the first 30 days of the purchase date. The terms add a condition: you get the money back only if you cancel and ask for the refund in those 30 days, and you lose access to the product when the refund arrives. There are no prorated refunds when you change plans.
Renewal and cancelling
A subscription renews automatically. You can cancel a paid subscription or a free trial at any time. With a paid subscription you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for, unless you take the refund. To cancel, write to [email protected]. Depending on your purchase you can also cancel through the payment partner that handled it, which is named in your purchase confirmation email. Do it before the renewal date.
Payment
The terms list American Express, Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Discover as accepted forms of payment. EnigmaSoft published a notice in January 2025 that its former payment processor Digital River had become insolvent. The company says this does not affect protection for existing customers.
Using cashback
Open the SpyHunter page at daily cashback, press the shop button and buy as usual. The current rate (27.5%) is shown on that page. In your free account the cashback first appears as open and becomes confirmed once EnigmaSoft has reported the order, normally after the 30-day refund period. If you take a refund, the cashback for the order is deducted. A code from another site can cost you the cashback, so close other voucher and cashback tabs while you shop.
