Social Stories Club: delivery areas, UK shipping and returns
Social Stories Club sells gift boxes and hampers with products from social enterprises, packed with a story booklet. The shop is based in the United Kingdom and delivers to three countries. This guide sums up what its delivery and refund pages say, so you know what to expect before you send a gift.
Where Social Stories Club delivers
The delivery page names the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States. For other countries the shop only offers delivery to Australia and the US at the moment. The currency menu at the bottom of the site lists pounds, Australian dollars and US dollars. Shipping outside the UK varies by country, and the shop says its international delivery prices include customs charges. The recipient does not pay import charges or taxes, because the shop pays them. Parcels leaving mainland UK can occasionally be delayed at the local customs office.
UK delivery and the free delivery area
Delivery within the UK is free. For gift boxes the free area covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales, including the Scottish Highlands and Islands and the Isle of Man. The Scilly Isles, Guernsey, Jersey and the Faroe Islands are excluded. For gift hampers the Scottish Islands and the Isle of Man are excluded as well. If you want several gifts to go to different UK addresses, the shop sends them at no extra cost: enter the addresses in the note box on the cart page or email them before ordering.
Dispatch and delivery time
Orders placed before 12 noon on a working day are dispatched the same day or by the next working day at the latest. An order placed after noon on Friday leaves on Monday, or by Tuesday. In the Christmas period you should allow two extra working days. Standard UK delivery is a 48-hour service, and the FAQ says gifts usually arrive 2 to 3 working days after dispatch. If you are in a hurry, you can upgrade to 24-hour or Guaranteed Next Day delivery at checkout for an extra fee. The earliest possible arrival is two working days after you order. You get an email with a tracking number once the order is on its way, and if a hamper recipient is out, the parcel may go to a collection point.
Returns and refunds
If goods arrive damaged, missing or not as described, email the shop with your order number and photos. It sends a return label and pays that postage. If you change your mind, you have 14 days after delivery to tell the shop and another 14 days to send the goods back. Short-dated food, opened sealed hygiene or personal-care items and goods made to your specification are excluded. For a change of mind you pay the return cost, and the refund covers the price and any standard UK delivery you paid, but not a paid express upgrade. Refunds are made within 14 days of the shop getting the goods back or proof of posting.
Payment and contact
The FAQ lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. There is no minimum order for any gift. You can reach the shop at [email protected].

Using cashback
Open the Social Stories Club page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 6%) and the offers we check every day are listed. Press the shop button, then choose your gift and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order, normally after the return period. A returned order is deducted again. A code from another site can cost you the cashback, so close other voucher tabs before you click.
