Shopping at The Hara Home: shipping to the US, Canada and Mexico, exchanges and cashback
The Hara Home sells scented candles from a small range, and it ships from the United States. If you live outside North America the first question is simple: will the parcel come to you at all? This guide goes through the shipping countries, what delivery costs, how exchanges work (the shop does not give refunds) and how cashback fits in.
Where The Hara Home delivers
According to its shipping policy the shop ships ground to the United States, Canada and Mexico, using carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx or regional partners. The country selector in the shop header lists United States (USD), Canada (CAD) and Mexico (USD). Addresses in the UK, the EU or elsewhere are not part of that list, so a buyer there would need a forwarding address in one of the three countries.
What shipping costs
Standard shipping is free inside the contiguous United States, which means the 48 states. Rates for Canada and Mexico are worked out at checkout, as are rates for Alaska, Hawaii, US territories and any expedited option. The shop does not publish a price table, so you only see the amount once an address is entered.
Delivery times
Orders are usually processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment. A confirmation email follows once the parcel has shipped, with tracking when available. After that:
- US standard shipping: about 5 to 7 business days
- Canada and Mexico: about 7 to 14 business days, depending on customs processing
The shop calls these estimates. Carrier delays, weather and customs can stretch them, especially at peak times and product launches.
Duties and customs fees
For Canada and Mexico the shipping policy says taxes, duties or customs fees are shown at checkout when possible, or collected by the carrier on delivery. Plan for that extra cost before you order, because it is not part of the shipping rate.
Exchanges instead of refunds
This is the point to read before you buy. The shop works with exchanges and replacements only, not with cash refunds. A candle that does not suit you can be exchanged for a new candle of equal value, as long as it is unused and in its original condition. If a candle arrives damaged, the shop replaces it at no cost. Report the damage within 14 days of delivery and send clear photos of the candle and its packaging.
To start an exchange, email the shop with the subject line Exchange, your order number, a short description and photos if relevant. The team says it answers within 2 to 3 business days. Shipping fees are not refundable unless the shop made the mistake.

Cashback with daily cashback
Open the The Hara Home page at daily cashback, where the current rate (2.5%) is shown next to the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, then order as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has approved the order. If you exchange a candle the order stays valid, but anything that ends up cancelled or returned is deducted again.
Practical tips
- Check the address twice. The shop is not responsible for parcels lost or returned because of a wrong address, and a reshipment can cost extra.
- Outside the contiguous US, look at the total in the checkout before you pay.
- Do not click through other cashback or voucher sites while you shop, since a later click can replace the first one.
