Ordering Tempur mattresses and pillows in Austria and Switzerland: delivery, returns and cashback
Tempur sells memory foam mattresses, pillows, bed frames and beds through national online shops. For this guide we looked at the Austrian shop at.tempur.com and the Swiss shop ch.tempur.com in October 2026. They are run by TEMPUR Sealy DACH GmbH in Steinhagen, Germany, but each shop has its own delivery area, delivery times and return period. A customer in the UK or the US will not find a shop for their country here, so the guide is for buyers in Austria and Switzerland.
Which countries Tempur delivers to
The Austrian shop delivers to addresses in Austria, and the Swiss shop to addresses in Switzerland. Each says that every product ships to your home free of delivery charge within its own country. Large items such as mattresses, frames and beds, and toppers 140 cm wide or more, can be brought into your bedroom or to the place you want them. For beds, mattresses and frames the shop will take away your old product for free if you ask for it during checkout. You may enter a delivery address that differs from the billing address in the second step of the order.
Delivery times
| Item | Austria | Switzerland |
|---|---|---|
| Small items: pillows, duvets, accessories | Usually 2 working days, via DHL | Usually 5 to 7 working days, via Swiss Post |
| Large items: mattresses, frames, beds | About 10 working days for standard sizes | About 10 to 15 working days in stock |
| Special lengths or sizes | Up to 12 weeks | Up to 12 weeks |
Replacement covers for pillows can take up to 6 weeks in Austria if they are not in stock. Design beds are made to order and take between 6 and 12 weeks in both shops. Large items travel by freight forwarder, and the service team agrees the exact delivery date with you beforehand. Both shops charge no delivery fee, so there is no free-shipping threshold to watch. Prices are in euros in Austria and Swiss francs in Switzerland.
Returns
The Austrian shop gives you 30 days to send goods back if you do not like them, and the Swiss shop gives you 14 days from receipt of the complete delivery. In both cases the return is free for you, and your statutory right of withdrawal stays untouched. Small items go back with a DHL return label. For large items in Austria you write to [email protected], and in Switzerland you write to [email protected]. Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days after the goods arrive at the warehouse. Second Chance products are excluded in Switzerland. Items bought in a store or from a dealer cannot be returned through the online shop, and the other way round.
The Swiss shop advertises a 100 day exchange guarantee. According to its own page this offer exists only at an authorised Tempur dealer and does not apply to purchases in the online shop.
Payment
The Austrian shop accepts credit cards, EPS, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Klarna invoice, Klarna Sofort and instalments. The Swiss shop lists credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa), advance payment, PayPal, Amazon Pay, Google Pay and purchase on invoice.
Cashback on Tempur
Open the Tempur page for your country at daily cashback: Austria or Switzerland. There you see the current rate (5%) and the offers we found. Press the shop button and order in the shop of your country. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed after Tempur has reported the order, usually once the return period has passed. If you send an item back, the amount for it is deducted.
Practical tips
- Order large items early, as the 10 days are for standard sizes only.
- Check that you are in the right country shop, because a Swiss basket cannot be delivered to Austria.
- Remember that foam products can need a break-in period, which the shop mentions itself.
- Finish the order in one visit, and keep other voucher or cashback tabs closed.
