On the first visit the site asks you to choose a country: Germany, Austria, Switzerland (German), Switzerland (French) or English. Prices, shipping and availability change with that choice. The Swiss shop is run by POLO Motorrad Schweiz GmbH in Oftringen. Its terms say the offer is aimed exclusively at customers who live or have their registered office in Switzerland, and that delivery goes only to addresses within Switzerland. Shipping inside Switzerland costs CHF 9.90 per order. The banner at the top of the site says shipping is free from CHF 199. Prices in the Swiss shop are in Swiss francs including VAT, and shipping is added on top. All shipping costs apply per order, not per item. The shop gives no fixed delivery time in its terms and says that information on availability and delivery time is without guarantee. Goods are shipped after full payment. If an item is not available at dispatch, the contract is cancelled and you are refunded.

The shipping page also lists the German shop's rates for other European countries, from 8.95 EUR for France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Poland up to 14.95 EUR for Portugal and Romania. These belong to the German shop, not to the Swiss one.

Payment

The Swiss terms list credit card (Visa and Mastercard), Postcard, advance payment and PayPal. Klarna is not among them.

Returns and warranty

The withdrawal page in the Swiss shop shows the text of the German company: 14 days to withdraw from the contract, and return postage of 5.99 EUR, or 3.99 EUR for POLO Club members. Because the Swiss terms and this page do not match perfectly, ask customer service which rule applies before you send a parcel back. The Swiss terms promise a two-year guarantee against defects.
