Direct-Volley: shipping prices by country, returns and cashback
Direct-Volley is a volleyball and sportswear shop with a Spanish web address that ships from France to a long list of European countries. If you live outside Spain, the delivery table is the first thing worth a look, because the price depends heavily on where the parcel goes. Here is what the shop's own pages say about shipping, returns and payment.
Where Direct-Volley delivers
The shipping page lists 39 destinations, mostly in Europe: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Monaco, Spain, Portugal, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Nordic and Baltic countries, much of Eastern and Southern Europe, Gibraltar, Iceland and Turkey. Orders to the United States are not part of that list.
Shipping costs by country
Each country has its own carrier and price. Home delivery and pickup points are priced separately, and pickup is usually a little cheaper.
| Destination | Shipping cost |
|---|---|
| Germany | Shipping 7.99 € by Hermès, 8.49 € to a DHL pickup point |
| Austria | Shipping 12.99 € by DPD, 11.49 € to a pickup point |
| Belgium | Shipping 7.99 € home, 6.99 € to a Mondial Relay point |
| Netherlands | Shipping 8.49 € home, 6.99 € to a pickup point |
| France (mainland) | Shipping 7.99 € by Colissimo, 7.49 € by Colis privé |
| Spain (not the Canary Islands) | Shipping 8.99 € by CTT Express, 7.49 € to a pickup point |
| Italy | Shipping 8.99 € home, 7.99 € to a pickup point |
| United Kingdom | Shipping 21.07 € by FedEx |
| Switzerland | Shipping 19.06 € by FedEx |
| Sweden | Shipping 18.54 € by PostNord |
Many smaller destinations, for example Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Turkey, are listed at 25.99 € shipping. Shipping to Poland is 12.11 €, to Denmark 13.38 € and to Ireland 13.99 €. Some bulky items cost extra to ship, and the surcharge is added at checkout in the delivery step.
Handling time and delivery time
Orders placed before 15:00 (Paris time) are prepared in one to two working days, and the shop quotes two to six working days for delivery. The estimate for each article sits on the product page right under the add to cart button, and it can change when you pick another size. Pickup deliveries trigger an email with the tracking number; to collect, bring ID and that number.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days from receipt to start a return, using the returns area or the return link in your account. Items must be unworn, in the original packaging with the label attached. Personalised products, such as a shirt with a printed name, cannot be returned. You pay the return postage. If an item is faulty or not as ordered, customer service can send a prepaid label after it has checked the case. Refunds follow within 14 days under the legal rules, either to your original payment method or as a voucher that stays valid for 12 months. There is no direct size exchange: return the item, then place a new order.
Payment
The shop accepts bank card, Apple Pay, PayPal (with the option to pay in three instalments) and bank transfer. Some methods depend on your billing country, and checkout shows what is available to you. With a transfer the items are not reserved until the money has arrived.
Using cashback
Open the Direct-Volley page at daily cashback. It shows the current cashback (up to 2.5%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and turns confirmed once Direct-Volley has reported the order. If you send an item back, the cashback for it is deducted. Use only the codes listed on the shop page, because a code from another site can cancel the cashback.
Practical tips
- Check the pickup price before you choose home delivery. In several countries it saves around one euro of shipping.
- Look at the shipping line for your own country first. Small markets cost much more than Germany or Belgium.
- Keep labels on until you are sure about the fit, since returns need them.
