Ordering from cambuy: surveillance cameras, shipping to the EU and Switzerland, and returns
cambuy is a German online dealer for video surveillance: IP cameras, dome and bullet cameras, recorders, thermal imaging and accessories from makers such as Dahua, Hikvision, Hanwha Vision and Axis. Where cambuy delivers
The terms say the shop delivers within Germany and to the other EU countries and Switzerland. Further countries are possible on request. The United Kingdom and the United States are not named, so a buyer there should write to the shop first and ask whether it will ship. The contact form and the hotline (07062 92 888 55, Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 17:00) are listed on the same page. Prices are shown in euro including German VAT.
Shipping costs
Standard shipping inside Germany and to Austria is free. For every other delivery country the shop charges 12.99 EUR shipping including VAT. Other shipping methods are available for a fee if you ask for them. If you collect the goods yourself, no shipping is charged, and the shop emails you when the order is ready.

Delivery time
Unless an offer names another date, delivery inside Germany takes 1 to 3 days after the contract is concluded. Foreign deliveries take 5 to 7 days. If you pay by prepayment, the clock starts when you send the transfer. If you order items with different delivery times, the shop sends one shipment and the slowest item sets the time. There is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays. Items that need clarification can be requested as an offer: you put products in the basket, press the offer button and receive a quote within a few hours.
Payment
The page lists cash on collection, prepayment by transfer, Amazon Pay, PayPal, PayPal Express, credit card, SEPA direct debit and PayPal invoice. A separate cambuy invoice is open only to public authorities and to companies after a credit check. Companies settle it within 14 days and authorities within 30 days.
Returns and withdrawal
Consumers can withdraw without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. You tell the shop in writing, for example by email, and send the goods back within 14 days of that notice. The shop refunds your payments including the cheapest standard delivery within 14 days, to the payment method you used, and it may wait until the goods are back. You pay the direct return postage, which is worth a thought for heavy kit or bulky recorders. Made-to-measure goods are excluded from withdrawal. The terms are written for consumers, so a business buyer should ask the shop how it treats returns.
Using cashback
On the cambuy page at daily cashback you see the current rate (up to 3.5%) and the offers we found, with the date of the last check. Press the shop button and order as usual. The cashback shows as pending in your free account and becomes confirmed once cambuy has reported the order. If part of the order goes back, the share for that part is deducted. For quote-based orders, enter through the button before you send the request.
Practical tips
- Outside Germany and Austria the flat 12.99 EUR applies per delivery, so collect everything you need for the site in one order.
