Buying a paddle board at Bluefin SUP: EU shipping, Switzerland and 30-day returns

· 2026-10-15

Bluefin SUP sells inflatable stand-up paddle boards, carbon paddles and accessories. The company behind it, Bluefin Trading Ltd, is registered in England and Wales, but the shop at bluefinsupboards.eu ships from a warehouse in the EU and prices in euro. There are also separate Bluefin sites for Germany, Switzerland, Spain, France and the Netherlands, and the .eu site has language versions for German, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch. We read the delivery, returns and refund policy pages on bluefinsupboards.eu in October 2026. The shop can change them, so check again at checkout.

Shipping costs and free shipping

The shop offers free shipping to most EU destinations on orders over €100. Orders under that value can get the same service for €4.99. A package ordered before 2 pm CET is meant to be dispatched on the same day, and the lead time then depends on where you live. After dispatch you receive tracking information by email from Bluefin or one of its delivery partners. The delivery page does not name a number of days.

Free shipping does not apply to these regions: the Azores, the Balearic Islands, Bulgaria, the Canary Islands, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Madeira, Romania and Switzerland. For them the delivery fee is calculated at checkout.

The Mammoth board is currently not delivered to the Azores, the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, France, Italy, Madeira or the Netherlands. If you are in one of these places, check the product page before you plan around that model.

Switzerland and customs

Orders for Switzerland are delivered on a Delivered at Place (DAP) basis and exclude VAT. As the buyer you are responsible for importing the goods. The delivery partner charges Swiss VAT and a customs clearance fee separately before delivery. Swiss customers can also use the shop's Swiss site, bluefinsupboards.ch.

Delivery rules

Couriers deliver to doorstep or curbside only. If you are out, the carrier tries a neighbour or a safe place you name. The customer is responsible for suitable arrangements. Pack stations and PO boxes do not work: an order with such an address is cancelled automatically, so give a residential or business address. Free gifts that come with an order are shipped in a separate package.

Returns and refunds

If you change your mind, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to start a return. Unwanted items must be unused and in their original packaging, and free gifts included with the purchase must be returned too. To begin, fill in the returns request form on the returns page. For consumers the refund policy also states a statutory 14-day cooling-off period and says refunds under it are issued within 14 days after the goods are back or after you cancel before dispatch. The refund goes to the original payment method. The shop may reduce the refund if the goods lost value from excessive handling, and sealed hygiene items opened after delivery are excluded.

The new range comes with a 5-year warranty, according to the shop.

Using cashback

Open the Bluefin SUP page at daily cashback. It shows the current rate (2.5%) and the offers we found, each with the date it was last checked. Press the shop button there, then browse and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback first appears as open and turns confirmed once Bluefin SUP has reported the order. A returned item reduces the amount for that item.

A few practical tips

  • A board plus accessories passes the €100 free shipping limit easily, but check your own country against the exceptions list.
  • Do not enter a pack station address. Use a home or business address with someone available.
  • From Switzerland, add Swiss VAT and the clearance fee to the price before you compare.
  • Keep the box until you have inflated and tested the board once, since returns must be unused and in the original packaging.
