Lidl Reisen vs ALDI Reisen: Where to Book Your Holiday?
Lidl Reisen vs ALDI Reisen: Where to Book Your Holiday? Both are travel agents, and your contract is with an organiser in the background. We recommend Lidl Reisen once cashback matters to you: we keep a shop page for it, and its FAQ page states the option booking by phone and the best price guarantee for flyer offers in black and white. We do not list ALDI Reisen. Offers and prices change fast, status October 2026. The audience here is readers in Germany and Austria.
We are not comparing a single trip here but the routes you book by: who sells you the trip, what applies when you rebook or cancel, how payment works and what it all means for your cashback.

Where cashback applies
We maintain a page of its own for Lidl Reisen, shop page for Lidl Reisen. It carries today's rate and the conditions. ALDI Reisen is not listed with us. If you book there, no credit comes from us, and you need no special entry point either.
How a booking with cashback runs
Enter Lidl Reisen through the shop page every time. Turn off your ad blocker first and complete the booking without a break. This does not change the trip price. In the free account the booking first shows as pending. Confirmation follows after the trip, not already when you book. Months can lie between the two dates.
If booking and trip fall apart, for instance through cancellation, the entry goes too. If you want to try a voucher code from another source before booking, read the shop page conditions first, because some codes cannot be combined with cashback.
Agent and organiser
The Lidl Reisen start page says Lidl acts as an agent for these offers and is not a tour operator. As travel provider the page names Travelcircus, for example, and for holiday flats access runs through HomeToGo. The terms of the provider concerned apply.
ALDI Reisen is similar. Its FAQ explains that ALDI Reisen is part of the online service of ALDI Nord and ALDI SÜD, acts as agent and is not the organiser. The organiser there is Berge & Meer Touristik GmbH in Rengsdorf. So trips come from one hand, while Lidl Reisen bundles several providers.
Rebooking, cancelling and what it does to your cashback
Lidl Reisen deals with changes and cancellations in its service centre, open every day between 8 am and 9 pm. Phone bookers may pick an option booking: for three working days the trip can be changed or dropped at no cost, then it stands. Online, the trip becomes binding when you click the pay button. What a later cancellation costs is set by the organiser's terms.
ALDI Reisen points to Berge & Meer and the terms for cancelling and rebooking. Withdrawal in writing is possible at any time, and the compensation rises as the travel date nears. Depending on trip type the scale starts at 20 to 30 percent of the trip price, from day 45, 30 or 22 before departure, and ends at 90 to 95 percent on the day of travel. For cashback the same holds on both routes: no completed trip, no credit.
Payment and deposit
ALDI Reisen lists credit card, invoice and direct debit. By its terms a deposit of 25 percent falls due with the booking confirmation and insurance certificate, at minimum 25 € per person. At Lidl Reisen the payment details are on the invoice that the organiser sends after booking.
Price promise and service
On the top offers in its flyer, Lidl Reisen promises the lowest price. If the same trip with identical services is advertised cheaper elsewhere within 3 days of your booking, you get the difference refunded. Special discounts from organisers are left out. ALDI Reisen advertises "the usual low ALDI prices" on its FAQ page and limited deals with a countdown, but names no comparable price promise.
On getting to the airport: Lidl Reisen explains its "train to flight" package for rides to a German departure airport. ALDI Reisen accepts customers from the EU and Switzerland, by phone Monday to Friday from 8 am to 9 pm, and at weekends and on public holidays from 10 am to 6 pm.

Who suits what
Lidl Reisen suits you if you want to take cashback along and choose between providers. If you are still unsure the trip will happen, use the option booking by phone and gain 3 working days.

What we recommend
For most readers Lidl Reisen is the better starting point: we list it, the service centre is reachable long hours every day and the best price guarantee can be checked. The last word still belongs to the final price of the same trip. Compare it in the booking step before you confirm.
