Shopping at Katia Designs: delivery abroad, 30-day returns and cashback
Katia Designs makes jewellery with short affirmations on it, from necklaces and beaded bracelets to rings and earrings. Because the pieces are assembled to order in Florida, delivery has two parts, and returns follow a few rules that differ between US and international buyers. Here is what the shop says about both.
Delivery inside the US
Orders are put together at the studio in South Florida. The shop asks for up to 5 business days of processing before the parcel leaves, on top of the carrier time shown at checkout. Its FAQ gives 3 to 5 business days, and processing can run longer during promotions. You receive a confirmation email with a tracking number once the order ships. Free shipping applies to US orders over $99.
International delivery
The FAQ names four countries outside the US: Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Mexico. Shipping goes by UPS or DHL Worldwide, the cost is worked out at checkout, and the shop allows 2 to 4 weeks for delivery in addition to the processing time. The free shipping offer above does not apply outside the US. Customs duties, import taxes and VAT are yours to pay on arrival, and the shop is not responsible for customs delays. Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from the delivery date to ask for a return or exchange. The piece has to be unworn, unused and in its original condition, and the parcel must be postmarked inside the 30 days. Every request goes through the shop's Return Center and is approved by hand, which the shop says takes up to one business day.
The return label depends on one checkbox. Buyers who add Checkout+ in the cart get a free return label and package protection, which covers lost, stolen or damaged parcels. Without it you can buy a label in the Return Center. For international returns the shop cannot provide prepaid labels, so write to [email protected] instead. After the parcel arrives, refunds are normally issued within 3 to 5 business days. Items from the Last Chance collection, flash sales and gift cards are final sale. Report a defect within 2 business days of delivery. The shop also offers one free repair in the first year, and you cover the postage for it.
Changing or cancelling an order
The FAQ says an order cannot be changed or cancelled after it is placed, and the refund policy mentions requests within 24 to 48 hours before fulfilment. Check the details and the shipping address straight away, and write to [email protected] if something is wrong.
Payment
The shop supports Shop Pay and Shop Pay Installments. Installments have a minimum order of $50 and an eligibility check, and the lender is named in the FAQ. Katia Designs also runs a free rewards program with 5 points per dollar spent, redeemable as a coupon code that cannot be combined with another code.
Cashback at Katia Designs
Open the Katia Designs page at daily cashback and press the shop button. The page shows the current rate (1.5%) and the offers we check every day. In your free account the cashback starts as open and turns confirmed once the shop has approved the order. If you return an item, its cashback is deducted. The page is the US one, so read its conditions before you order to another country.
Practical tips
- Decide on Checkout+ in the cart, since it is the only way to a free return label.
- Do not mix a rewards coupon with a code from another site, as it can cost you the cashback.
- Start a return before day 30 ends, because the postmark counts.
