Freelance Translator Academy is a small online school run by Lugano Translations on the Thinkific platform. It sells courses for people who work or want to work as freelance translators: how to find direct clients, how to use AI tools in translation work, a guide to ProZ.com and an AI cover letter generator. What the school offers
The course list on the school's home page has five items and a bundle. "How to become a Freelance Translator" is the broad A-to-Z course, from set-up to finding the first clients, choosing a niche and invoicing. "A.I. For Translators" is a certificate course on prompts, glossaries and tone. "The Guide to ProZ.com" walks through signing up, completing your profile and applying for jobs on that platform. "AI for Your Business" is aimed at a wider audience, and the AI Cover Letter Generator is a tool where you paste a job posting and your CV. The bundle combines the direct-client material and says it is used by more than 1,500 students.
Price model and access
Courses are sold either as a monthly subscription or as a one-off payment, and the amounts are shown on each course page in $. The bundle and the cover letter generator are marked "Cancel Anytime". For the translation course the page promises lifetime access, including downloadable files and templates, and the guide page says you keep access, including future updates, once you sign up. Prices on the home page and on a course page do not always show the same model, for example one course is listed with a one-time price on the overview and with a monthly price on its own page. The courses are self-paced. The school says the main course can be finished in under six hours, you receive a certificate on completion, and the instructor answers questions. The course is also described as updated from time to time.
Where you can use it
This is a digital product on a hosted platform, so there is no shipping, no delivery address and no customs. You need an internet connection and a browser. The school does not publish a country list. The language of all pages is English.
Cancelling and getting help
If a refund matters to you, ask the instructor by email before you pay, because the course pages do not state a refund period. Subscription items that carry the "Cancel Anytime" label can be ended, which stops further monthly payments. Questions about a course go by email to the address shown on the course pages.

Using cashback
Open the Freelance Translator Academy page at daily cashback, where the current rate (15%) and the current offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button there, then choose your course and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the school has reported the order. If an order is refunded, the cashback for it is deducted.
Practical tips
