DolphinUnion: how delivery works for digital China guides, refunds and cashback
DolphinUnion sells self-guided China travel guides as PDF files. Nothing is posted: you pay, and the file arrives in your inbox. That changes the usual shipping questions completely, and it makes the refund rule the most important thing to read before you buy.
What you actually buy
According to the return policy, every product on the shop is a downloadable digital PDF travel guide for overseas travelers. No physical books or goods are delivered. The shop range is organised by destination, for example Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Guilin, Zhangjiajie and Hangzhou. Titles are written for independent travelers and often carry the length of the stay, such as 72, 96, 120 or 144 hours.
The home page also shows bundles that combine several city guides, for example a 10-day set for Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, a six-city set for 20 to 25 days and a nine-destination set for 30 days. These bundles carry a bundle discount compared with buying each guide on its own. The site also offers free guides for a list of cities, which is a good way to see the style before you pay.
Delivery: a file by email
After successful payment, the PDF is sent instantly to your registered email address. There is no parcel, no shipping address and no import duty. Prices are shown in US dollars. Whether your country and payment method work is shown at checkout, so test that before you plan your trip around the guide. PayPal is a payment method listed for the shop.
If the file does not show up, look in your spam folder first. If it still is not there, or it will not open, write to [email protected] with your order number. The shop resends the guide free of charge and helps with download problems.

Refunds: read this before paying
Because the product is an instantly delivered file, all sales are final. Once the PDF has been delivered to your inbox, the shop does not give refunds. The policy also names situations that will not be accepted for a refund: buying by mistake without reading the product details, being unable to download because of your email or device settings, and having already downloaded and viewed the content.

The refund policy only covers the PDF guides, so ask the team directly about conditions for those services before you book. Cashback at DolphinUnion
Open the DolphinUnion page at daily cashback and press the shop button. The current rate is up to 25%, and the offers listed there are checked daily. Buy as usual afterwards. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once the shop has reported the order. Because digital guides cannot be refunded after delivery, returns hardly come up, but any reversed order lowers the cashback again. A code from another site can cost you the cashback.
