Buying tyres at Neumaticos.es: delivery, payment, returns and cashback
Neumaticos.es is a Spanish tyre comparison and ordering site operated by TyresNET GmbH in Munich. It does not work like a single warehouse. The site lists offers from many sellers for car, motorcycle, van, SUV and bicycle tyres, plus rims, oils and accessories, and you either go on to the seller's own website or order through the cart at neumaticos.es. The site is in Spanish and aimed at the Spanish market, so the points below matter most if your delivery address is in Spain.
How an order works
You search with the tyre finder: vehicle type, tyre type and the size as width, height and diameter. A results page then lets you filter by price, brand, seller and test results. Once you pick an offer you have two routes. One is to click through to the seller's website and order there, where the shop details, delivery information and accepted payment methods are listed. The other is to add the offer to the cart and order directly on neumaticos.es, if the retailer is listed with that option.
After the order you deal with the retailer. For questions about your order the site tells you to contact the seller, and the details are in the confirmation email. Neumaticos.es says it does not carry the transport risk, because the retailer is responsible for everything about your order, including delivery problems.
Delivery and shipping charges
Every seller on the site has its own delivery options and its own shipping charge. You see the cost on the product detail page next to each offer. If you order through the cart, the seller's payment and delivery policy can be opened from there. If you click through to a partner, look for the delivery policy in the top or bottom menu of its site. No single delivery time or country list applies to the whole site, so check the seller's conditions before you order from outside Spain.
Paying
The payment methods differ per seller and are shown beside each offer. When you order directly on neumaticos.es you can choose from these:
- Bank transfer: the payment details and total appear on the thank-you page and in an email, and the order is processed only after the payment is confirmed.
- Credit card: after you confirm, you are sent to the seller's payment page and return to the thank-you page once it is processed.
- PayPal or another online payment service: you log in or check out as a guest. The PayPal payment has to be started from the neumaticos.es site, not from PayPal directly.
Tracking your order
After the order you land on a thank-you page and get a confirmation email with an 8-digit order number. With it you can open the tracking form and see the order date, status, payment date, carrier and tracking number.
Returns
The return policy gives a window of two weeks after the purchase. You must tell the company within these two weeks. Its address is TyresNET GmbH, Amalienstr. 71, 80799 Munich, Germany. The company says it arranges the pickup of the goods from your home, so you do not need to organise the shipment yourself. Once the goods are back with them, the invoice amount is refunded. They ask you to give the reason for the return on a voluntary basis. If the goods are damaged, tell them, because that is the way to avoid extra costs.
