Booking with OYO UK: cancellation, payment, check-in and cashback
OYO UK lists hotels across Britain under brands such as Sunday Hotels and Belvilla Hotels by OYO. There is no parcel to track here. What counts is how cancellation works, what you pay and when, and what the hotel wants to see at check-in. This guide sums up the guest policy and terms on oyorooms.com/gb.
Where you can use it
The UK site lists hotels in cities across England, Scotland and Wales, from Exeter and Cardiff to Aberdeen and Dundee. Prices on the site appear in pounds. Each hotel page shows its own amenities, and the guest policy tells you to read the property details before you book, because hotels set some rules themselves. Some hotels do not allow visitors in the rooms.
Payment and when you are charged
After you reserve, the first night is charged as a prepayment, subject to the card charging policy. If you book with pay at hotel, you are charged the full amount at check-in. The terms ask you to use your own credit card, one you are authorised to use.
Cancellation and refunds
For bookings of up to three rooms, a cancellation inside the free cancellation window costs nothing and returns 100 percent. After that window the fee is one night's booking amount. How long the window lasts depends on the individual hotel's policy.
- On the day of check-in, after the scheduled check-in time, or if you do not turn up, the complete booking amount is deducted.
- If you shorten a stay before the hotel's check-in time, one night is charged.
- If you shorten it after the check-in time, you are charged for the next two nights, and the remaining nights are refunded.
You cancel on the website or the app, or by email to [email protected]. The refund is credited within 14 working days. If you want to claim a refund after the stay, the terms give you 7 days from the check-out date to raise the request. A discounted booking cannot be modified, and no amount is refunded for an early check-out.
Check-in
Every guest needs original photo identification at check-in: any photo ID for EU citizens and a passport for non-EU citizens. The main guest must be at least 18 years old, and for couples both guests must be. If you want to extend your stay, it is offered at the current room rates, subject to availability, and these can differ from your original rate. Free early check-in and late check-out of up to two hours are available when the hotel has room, as is a free upgrade.

Using cashback
Open the OYO page at daily cashback, where the current rate (up to 1.5%) and the offers are listed with the date we last checked them. Press the shop button, then search and book as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open first and becomes confirmed once OYO has reported the stay. A cancelled booking earns no cashback.
Practical tips
- Read the free cancellation window on the hotel page before you pay, since it differs by hotel.
- Bring a photo ID for every guest, and a passport if you are not an EU citizen.
- Finish the booking in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the site, since either can break the click.
- Close other cashback and voucher sites while you book, because a later click can replace the first one.
