Shopping at Zapaka: worldwide shipping, 7-day returns and cashback
Zapaka (zapaka.com) is a dress shop for formal occasions, with prom, evening and bridesmaid dresses plus shoes and accessories. Almost everything is made to order, and that shapes the rules: production comes before shipping, custom sizes cannot go back, and the return window is only seven days. The details below come from the shop's delivery, returns and payment help pages.
Where Zapaka ships
The shop says it ships worldwide to nearly every country, from the Americas and Europe to Asia, Africa and Oceania, with major international carriers. If your country is missing at checkout, you can contact the shop. It does not deliver to PO boxes or to military APO and FPO addresses, so use a physical address. Sales tax is included in the prices shown, but import duties are not. Because the goods are shipped from abroad, the customer pays customs duties, and the shop suggests asking your local customs office.
Shipping cost and delivery time
The page gives no flat fee. The shipping cost depends on the weight of your items, the method you choose and the destination. Total delivery time is longer than the shipping time alone, because each order goes through processing and quality control before it ships.
| Shipping method | Time in transit |
|---|---|
| Standard | 6 to 10 business days |
| Expedited | 3 to 8 business days |
Tracking can stay quiet for 3 to 7 days when a parcel is in transit or clearing customs from an international warehouse. Wait a few days before you write, and if tracking says delivered but you have nothing, check your mailbox and neighbours first, then the local post office.
Returns, exchanges and cancellations
You have 7 days after delivery to contact the shop about a return. Items have to be unworn, unwashed and undamaged, with all tags attached, and returns without prior approval are refused. These are final sale: clearance items, accessories, customised items, flash sale items and Black Friday specials. Custom size dresses cannot be returned because they are cut to your measurements, and swimwear, lingerie and earrings cannot go back for hygiene reasons.
Return shipping is on you, and the original shipping fee is not refunded. Returning 2 or 3 items carries a restocking fee of 15 percent, and 4 or more items 30 percent, deducted from the refund. Damaged, defective or wrongly shipped items get a full refund including freight. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually in 5 to 7 business days after processing, and the whole return often takes around 10 days.
Cancellation depends on timing. Within 24 hours of payment you get a full refund. After that the refund shrinks:
- 24 to 72 hours: 80 percent of the price plus the shipping fee.
- 72 to 120 hours: 50 percent of the price plus the shipping fee.
- Beyond 120 hours: only the shipping fee is refunded, and a shipped order cannot be cancelled.
Payment
Zapaka takes Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal and its own gift cards, on desktop, mobile and in the app. Cashier's cheques and money orders are not accepted. Only one promo or coupon code works per order. If a card payment fails, check the card data and that international online payments are enabled, or switch to PayPal.
Cashback at Zapaka
Open the Zapaka page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) is shown. Press the button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has approved the order. A return reduces it again. A code from another site can cost you the cashback, so take the offers from the shop page.
Practical tips
- Measure twice before choosing a custom size, because that choice ends any return.
- Order weeks before the event, as production and transit add up.
- Keep the shoe box intact, since a damaged box makes shoes ineligible.
