Shopping at Munich Sport: shipping, customs, returns and cashback

Munich Sport is a footwear and sportswear brand with its online shop run from Capellades near Barcelona by La Tormenta Perfecta S.L.U. The shop is organised around Spain and Portugal, but it also sends parcels abroad. Here is what its shipping and returns page says, so you can judge a basket before you pay.

Where Munich Sport delivers and what it costs

Free shipping and free size exchanges apply to orders above €60 going to mainland Spain and mainland Portugal. Below that amount, shipping to mainland Spain and to the Balearic Islands costs €2.95.

International orders are charged by destination country, from €9.95 up to €49.95. The exact figure for your address appears when you build the basket. Parcels do not go to post office boxes.

For Spain and the Balearics the shop uses Correos Express. International parcels travel with UPS or GLS.

Dispatch time

The shop states 24 to 72 working hours, Monday to Friday, for dispatch. One exception is the Goalkeeper model: it is made to order, which adds 30 working days of manufacturing before the 24 to 72 hours of shipping start.

If an item is out of stock, customer service writes to you by email within the same 24 to 72 working hours. A fully unavailable order is cancelled and refunded. If only part of it is missing, the missing part is refunded and the rest is shipped.

Customs, VAT and orders from outside the EU

Prices on the site include Spanish VAT. Buyers in the EU who are a company entitled to VAT exclusion can send their VAT number and the right certificate. Private buyers or companies living outside the EU are not exempt from VAT unless they send the proper certificate.

Parcels addressed outside the EU are subject to customs duties and taxes, and the shop says these are paid by the customer. If you live in the UK, Switzerland or the US, plan for that extra cost before ordering.

Returns

Returns are accepted for 30 days after you receive the goods, and they must be authorised through the shop's return portal. To start one, log in, open My orders and press Request return, then follow the steps on screen.

If a product has a manufacturing fault, Munich replaces it with a new one or one of the same category. If the shop made a mistake with your order, it collects the parcel and sends the correct item at no extra cost to you. Items you ship back without approval are not reimbursed for postage. Orders can also be returned in an official Munich store, whether they were delivered or picked up there.

Payment and contact

The payment page lists Visa and Mastercard credit cards, with the secure checkout step run by your bank (Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code). You enter card number, expiry date and the three-digit code. The shop does not store the card data, which goes straight to the bank terminal.

Using cashback

Open the Munich Sport page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3%) and the current offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button there, then shop and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Munich Sport has reported the order. If you return an item, the share for that item is deducted.

Practical tips

• If your basket sits at €55 or €58, one more small item can cost less than the €2.95 shipping fee, as long as you actually want it.
• Goalkeeper models take over a month to produce, so do not order them for an event next week.
• Check your return window the day the parcel arrives, since the 30 days count from receipt.
• Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker on the shop, because either can break the cashback click.
