Shopping at Foot Store: shipping by country, returns and cashback

Foot Store is a French online shop for football boots, shoes, club kit and sports equipment, run by Spacefoot SAS from Levallois-Perret near Paris. The site is in French, but the delivery page lists prices for more than 40 countries, which makes it easy to check what a parcel to your address costs. Here are the main points.

Shipping costs by country

Prices depend on the country and the carrier. Parcels can go to your door or to a pick-up point, and pick-up is usually a little cheaper. A selection from the shop's price list:

Other prices from the list: Ireland 13.99 euros, Denmark 13.38 euros, Sweden 18.54 euros, Poland 12.11 euros, Portugal 9.99 euros, Luxembourg 9.99 euros. Many countries in southern and eastern Europe such as Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria cost 25.99 euros shipping, and Greece 21.99 euros. Spain excludes the Canary Islands, and in France Corsica has its own price.

Processing and delivery time

The order cut-off is 3:00 PM Paris time. The shop processes an order in 1 to 2 working days, and transit takes 1 to 5 working days. The dispatch time of each product is shown on its page, just below the add to basket button, and it can change with the size you select.

Heavy or bulky items can add extra shipping costs. These are shown automatically at step 3 of the checkout, called "Mode de livraison".

Pick-up points

When you choose a pick-up point, you get an email as soon as the parcel arrives, with the tracking number. Take photo ID and the tracking number to collect it. Someone else can collect it with a written authorisation from you, their own ID and a copy of yours.

Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from receipt to start a return. The product must go back in its original packaging with the label intact, so do not remove tags or get items dirty. Personalised products, such as printed football shirts or skis with mounted bindings, cannot be returned or exchanged.

You start the return on the shop's return platform or through the return link in your order history. Return shipping is paid by you, except when an item is faulty or not as described, in which case a pre-paid label is provided after customer service approves it. Once the return is accepted you have 15 days to send the goods to the return address in Montlouis-sur-Loire, France.

When you use the right of withdrawal, the refund including standard shipping follows within 14 days of the shop being told of your decision. The shop may wait until it has the goods or proof of dispatch.

Payment and contact

Available methods include bank transfer, Klarna, card, Apple Pay and PayPal, some depending on your billing country. PayPal can be paid in four instalments without fees. Bank transfer applies from a minimum order of 300 euros, and Klarna for amounts between 700 and 4,500 euros. Credit notes after a return are valid for 12 months. Using cashback

Open the Foot Store page at daily cashback first, where the current rate (up to 2.5%) and the latest offers are listed with the date they were last checked. Press the shop button and order as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and turns confirmed once the shop has reported the order. If you return an item, the cashback for it is deducted.

Tips

  • Compare home delivery and pick-up point at checkout, because the difference is often one or two euros.
  • Return shipping is yours, so pick the size carefully and leave the tags on until it fits.
  • Check the dispatch time under the basket button after choosing your size.
  • Finish the order in one visit and pause your ad blocker, otherwise the cashback click can get lost.
