Cashmere Boutique is a US online shop for cashmere sweaters, pashminas, robes, coats, scarves and throws. Orders leave a warehouse in North Carolina, and the shop says it ships to most major countries of the world. Shipping inside the US

Ground shipping is free on every US order. The shop dispatches orders within one business day unless the item page says otherwise or the item is on back order. USPS, FedEx and UPS do not deliver on weekends, so count business days only. For the US the shop lists these services:

  • Ground: 4 to 7 business days
  • 3 Day Service: 3 to 4 business days
  • 2 Day Service: 2 to 3 business days
  • Overnight: 1 to 2 business days
  • First Class Mail: 5 to 7 business days

The price of the faster services is shown in the cart once you enter your zip code.

Shipping abroad

There is no fixed price list for other countries. Add the items to your cart, type your country and postal code into the Shipping Estimate box, and the cart shows the available options with their shipping charges. Two international services are named:

  • First Class Mail International via the US Postal Service: 10 to 15 business days. Tracking and insurance are not available, and the shop is not responsible for packages lost with this method.
  • Priority International Service: 3 to 5 business days with tracking. FedEx or UPS may add customs clearance charges.

Duties and other taxes may be payable in your own country, so ask your local customs office before you order.

Countries and currencies

The country menu in the shop header offers Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States. Each entry shows its currency, for example EUR for Germany and Austria, GBP for the United Kingdom, CHF for Switzerland and USD for Canada and Norway.

Returns and refunds

You can return an item for a refund within 15 days of receipt. It has to be unused and in its original packaging. Shipping charges are not refunded, and there are no restocking fees. The shop asks you to insure the return parcel, and the refund goes back to the payment method you used. It is processed within 15 days after the item reaches the warehouse.

You start a return online: enter the order number and zip code, tick the items, press Generate Return and wait for the email with instructions. Exchanges work as a return plus a new order. Orders placed between November 1 and December 31 can be exchanged until January 15 of the next year, while the refund period stays at 15 days.

Open the Cashmere Boutique page at daily cashback, where the current rate (3.5%) is listed. Press the shop button, then shop and pay as usual. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed after the shop has approved the order. A returned item is deducted from the cashback.

Practical tips

  • Compare the cart shipping charge for Priority International and First Class before you pay, because the delay is large.
  • For gifts in December, remember that returns sent between December 1 and January 15 are processed after January 15.
