Buying from 47 Skin: UK delivery, international shipping and returns
47 Skin is a British skincare brand that ships from its own warehouse in Northampton. Its delivery page covers both the UK and international orders, and the rules differ quite a bit between the two. Here is what matters before you check out.
UK delivery
Orders are processed within 48 hours and usually go out with Royal Mail. There are two options:
- UK Standard Delivery costs £4.49, takes up to 5 business days, and is free shipping on orders over £30.
- UK Priority Delivery costs £6.49 for shipping and arrives within 1 to 2 business days.
Parcels are delivered between 9am and 8pm, Monday to Friday. After dispatch you get an email with tracking, and the status also shows under My Orders in your account.
International shipping
Orders outside the UK are sent from the UK warehouse by FedEx and take 5 to 7 business days. The shop says this is an estimate that can change with local customs rules. The shipping cost depends on the region and appears automatically in the checkout once you enter your address.
International orders go out under DDP, Delivery and Duties Paid. Duties, taxes and import fees are already in the price you pay at checkout, so you should not be asked for customs charges when the parcel arrives. At the moment 47 Skin cannot ship to Spain; the shop says it is working on it.
Returns and the 47-day guarantee
Returns are accepted for products bought directly on 47skin.com, but not for opened cosmetic products. You need to contact Customer Care within 30 days of delivery. Once you have a return address, 47 Skin must receive the parcel within 7 working days, otherwise a refund may not be possible.
Separately, the 47-Day First Try Guarantee lets you try the products for at least 30 days. If the results are not what you hoped for, you can ask for a full refund between day 30 and day 47 without sending anything back. It applies to the first order per household only.

Cashback
Start from the 47 Skin page at daily cashback, where the offers are listed and checked every day, and the cashback rate is up to 2.5%. Press the shop button, then order and pay as you normally would. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once 47 Skin has reported the order. A returned product reduces the amount for that item.
Before you order
- A basket of £27 or £28 is often cheaper with one more small item than with the £4.49 delivery fee, but remember that opened cosmetics cannot be returned.
- Outside the UK, enter your address first and read the shipping line before you pay.
- Complete the order in one visit and keep other cashback or voucher sites closed, since a later click can replace the first one.
