Purple Parking: booking types, cancellation vouchers, euro prices and cashback
Purple Parking sells pre-booked airport parking in the UK, and also airport hotels, lounges, overseas airport transfers and car hire. You book a space, get a reference by email and show it at the car park. As nothing is shipped, the questions that matter are how flexible your booking is, what happens if plans change, and how payment works if you live abroad. The site's terms answer most of them.
What you can book
Parking covers airports across the UK and Ireland, among them Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Glasgow, plus Dublin and the ports of Dover and Southampton. There are several kinds of parking: meet and greet, park and ride, park and ride premium and Q-Park city centre parking. Overseas airport transfers are offered for destinations in Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, Croatia, Morocco, the USA, Barbados and Mauritius. After you book, Purple Parking acts as an intermediary and passes the details to the provider, who runs the car park or hotel.
Booking types and what they allow
The flexibility of a booking depends on its type, and the type is shown before you pay.
- Fully-Flexible and Free Cancellation: can be amended or cancelled free of charge up to 2 hours before the booked arrival time for parking, lounges and fast track, and until 1 pm on the day of arrival for hotels.
- Saver: the same free amendment window, but a cancellation gives you a voucher for the booking value and no cash refund.
- Supersaver, Can't Cancel or Amend and Non-flexible: no cancellation, amendment, voucher or refund.
When a Free Cancellation booking is cancelled, you receive a voucher for the full value. It can be used for a future parking, hotel, lounge, fast track, transfer or car hire booking within 18 months. You can swap the voucher for a cash refund within 14 days of issue. Bookings cancelled 7 days or more after they were made get the refund minus 10 pounds, which stays on your account for the next booking. Cancelling on the arrival date gives no cash refund. Vouchers have to be used on the same website as the original booking.
Paying from abroad and prices in euros
Prices include VAT. The terms add that prices are occasionally shown in euros. These are an estimate based on an exchange rate, the booking is charged in euros, and the euro amount appears on your confirmation. The payment goes through an international card system, so your card issuer converts the amount into your own currency and may add a transaction charge. The final amount on your statement can differ from the indicative price. On the day, bring the card you booked with.
Keys, vehicles and timing
Parking is at your own risk and follows the car park operator's terms. For meet and greet or any car park that asks for keys, you must hand over the physical key. Digital keys and app access are not accepted, and without the required key the car park may refuse the car without a refund. For an extra large vehicle or a motorbike, ask first whether the car park can take it without an extra charge. If you arrive earlier or leave later than booked, the car park can charge its normal price for the extra time. Leaving early earns no refund.
Airport transfers and price match
For an overseas airport transfer the provider needs your flight number, mobile number and full name at least 48 hours before travel, and reminders follow, with a last one 72 hours before. Transfers can be cancelled free up to 24 hours before the arrival time of the first journey. Shuttle transfers cannot be amended within 48 hours of the journey.
Purple Parking also promises to match a lower price: if you find exactly the same product from the same supplier cheaper within 24 hours of paying, it refunds the difference.

Using cashback
Open the Purple Parking page at daily cashback, where you find the current rate (up to 7.5%) and the offers we check every day. Use the shop button on daily cashback first, then book your space and pay as normal. In your free account the cashback shows as open and becomes confirmed once Purple Parking has reported the booking. If you cancel a Purple Parking booking, the cashback for it falls away.
Tips
- Read the booking type before paying. A Supersaver price is lower for a reason, because it cannot be changed.
- Book in a single session with the ad blocker paused, otherwise the cashback click may not be recorded.
