Movavi vs Wondershare: Which Software Is Worth It?
Movavi vs Wondershare: Which Software Is Worth It? We mean video editing here: Movavi Video Editor against Wondershare Filmora. For a start on the computer we recommend Movavi, because the program is kept deliberately simple, the licence length is yours to choose and the 14-day refund window is plain on the buying page. Filmora is the better pick if you also want to cut on a phone or iPad and lean on AI more. Both are shops with us. Status October 2026, prices move.
Cashback at both shops
Movavi and Wondershare each have a page with us: Movavi at daily cashback and Wondershare at daily cashback. You find the current rate for each there. You collect in your free account and are paid out by PayPal.

Both programs are digital goods and the activation arrives by email. So the route to the purchase is what matters: open the shop page, switch the ad blocker off briefly and order in the same visit. A foreign promo code may cost the cashback as well, as the attribution changes. You can read up on it on the shop page.
Scope and handling
Movavi Video Editor offers cutting, cropping, colour correction and speed, plus AI tools such as automatic subtitles and noise removal, and filters, transitions and titles. The maker names more than 10,000 effects. The Video Suite bundle includes a video converter and screen recorder, and there is a Photo Editor and the full pack Movavi Unlimited. The trial version adds a watermark and limits videos to 60 seconds; once paid, both go.
Wondershare Filmora runs on Windows and Mac, with versions for iOS, Android and iPad. Its website lists timeline editing, screen recording, camera tracking, silence detection, auto beat sync and automatic captions, plus AI features such as text to video and a library of more than 2.9 million assets.
For beginners that means: Movavi shows less at once, Filmora offers more tools and content sources, but also more choice to learn first.
Trial, term and refund
Movavi lets you try the software free for seven days, after which the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel. You can choose a month, a year or a lifetime licence. The buying page names a 14-day money-back guarantee.
Wondershare's refund policy describes a request window of up to 30 days from payment, up to 7 days for some products. In the EU the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal comes on top, where no exception applies. Getting a renewal refunded only because you forgot it is generally not possible under the policy if a reminder was sent beforehand. Purchases through the App Store or Google Play run through that platform.
For your cashback at both: if the purchase is refunded or cancelled, the credit is dropped. So test thoroughly in the trial period and cancel in good time.
After the purchase
With Movavi you receive an email after payment with a download link and an activation key, which per the buying page arrives about 15 minutes later. Updates are included during the subscription period, and the paid version has no length limit on video or audio. Payment runs through an outside payment service that offers phone support around the clock.
With Wondershare you file refund requests in your account under My Orders. Used credits, such as those for AI services, are generally not refundable. That matters for AI functions that work with credits: try them in small steps before you use a lot.
Whichever provider you choose, a short test with your own material pays off. Cut a video you need anyway, export it and check whether speed, formats and quality suit you. Only then decide between a term and lifetime.
