Infimobile: prepaid SIM and eSIM, number transfer, refunds and cashback
Infimobile is a prepaid mobile provider for the United States. It sells SIM cards and eSIMs with a plan attached, and customers pay upfront for one, six or twelve months depending on the plan. There is no phone to ship, so the useful questions are how the SIM arrives, whether your phone works, how fast your number moves over and what the refund rules say.
Where the service works
Infimobile describes itself as a US service with nationwide 5G access on every plan, and the zip code checker on the site shows the coverage in your area. The terms talk about domestic use, so plan on using it in the United States. The shop also sells an international calling add-on for calls from the US. If you are planning a US stay as a visitor, student or expat, check with customer service that the plan fits your trip before you pay.
Physical SIM or eSIM
When you check your phone you choose between an eSIM with digital delivery and a physical SIM shipped to your door. The shop says the eSIM allows easy same-day activation, and some plans list free digital delivery. New SIMs must be activated within 60 days of purchase. You can also find Infimobile SIM kits on marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay and Temu, according to the shop's own FAQ.
| Point | What the shop says |
|---|---|
| Phone | Unlocked, VoLTE capable, GSM |
| eSIM | Digital delivery, same-day activation |
| Physical SIM | Shipped to your address |
| Number transfer | Typically 2 to 48 hours |
| Refund | New customers within 7 days of activation |
Is your phone compatible?
Infimobile works on unlocked 5G and 4G LTE phones that support VoLTE. A locked phone will not work, so ask your current carrier or the seller of a new phone to confirm that it is unlocked. Smartwatches, iPads and routers are not supported at the moment. The compatibility checker asks for your IMEI, which you get by dialing *#06# on your phone.
Moving your number
Start in the Activate SIM section of the website, fill in the first form and then the port-in application with the details of your current carrier. After you submit it, the team begins the transfer. According to the shop, activation typically takes 2 to 48 hours depending on the old carrier, and you receive an email when it is done.
Refunds, renewals and payment
The refund form is open to new customers within 7 days of plan activation, and you send one form per order. Some plans are marked as non-refundable on the plan page, so read that label before you pay. Payment works with most major credit and debit cards. If you turn on auto-renewal, the scheduled payment is started four days before the renewal date, and you can set it up in your account, when you buy or when you activate. After the high-speed data allowance of a plan is used, speeds are reduced for the rest of the monthly cycle.
Support
Chat is available around the clock. By phone the team answers from 8 am to 9 pm Eastern time on (855) 686-0102, and email goes to [email protected].
Cashback on your plan
Open the Infimobile page at daily cashback, where the current rate (5%) and the offers are listed. Press the shop button and buy your plan as usual. In your free account the cashback first shows as open and becomes confirmed once Infimobile has reported the order. If a plan is refunded, the cashback for it is deducted, which is another reason to decide within the 7-day window.
Handy to know
- Check the IMEI and the unlock status before you pay, because the refund window is short.
- Order in one browser session with your ad blocker paused so the click is tracked.
- Keep other cashback or voucher tabs closed while you shop.
