Buying from Wuben: US store shipping, delivery times, returns and cashback
Wuben makes flashlights, headlamps and pen lights, and sells them together with batteries and accessories at wubenlight.com. That is the US store, and the shipping page contains a detail many buyers miss: it does not ship to the EU. This guide covers which store to use, what shipping costs, how long delivery takes and how returns work.
Which Wuben store serves your country
The shipping policy says the shop can ship to most countries in the world, and that the cart tells you whether your country is accepted. The US store does not ship to the EU. EU customers are pointed to wubenlight.de instead. So wubenlight.com suits delivery addresses in North America, Asia and Oceania, the regions listed on the policy page.
Shipping cost and delivery time
A banner on the shop promises free shipping for orders from $60. Orders are packed within one business day, and order details or the address cannot be changed after 12 hours. Orders to remote areas are charged shipping fees, and buyers there pay customs duties themselves. Goods are generally sent from overseas warehouses such as the US warehouse, and you receive tracking afterwards.
| Region | Countries named | Delivery time |
|---|---|---|
| North America | United States, Canada, Mexico | 3 to 7 business days from the overseas warehouse, 12 to 15 from the Chinese warehouse |
| Asia | Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and others | 7 to 15 business days |
| Oceania | Australia, New Zealand | 7 to 15 business days |
Customs and taxes
Taxes may apply to imported goods under the rules of the destination country. Wuben says it is not responsible for tax invoices charged on its products, and that shipping rates are estimates that depend on the import country. Your local customs authority can answer questions about the amount.
Damage and missing items
If something is missing, wrong, damaged or defective, take clear photos right away and keep all evidence. The shop wants to hear from you within one week of signing for the package. Later requests cannot be processed.
Returns and refunds
You have 30 days after receiving an item to request a return. It must be in the condition you received it, unworn or unused, with tags and in its original packaging, and you need the receipt or proof of purchase. Start by emailing [email protected]. Once the return is accepted, the shop sends instructions on where to send the package. Parcels returned without asking first are not accepted. Return shipping is yours to pay unless the item is defective.
Sale items and gift cards cannot be returned, and neither can perishable goods, custom products, personal care goods or hazardous materials. For an exchange, return the item and place a new order. Once the shop has received and inspected the return, it notifies you whether the refund is approved. An approved refund goes back to the original payment method, and your bank may need a while to post it.
Payment
Wuben says it processes payments mainly through PayPal, where Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover and debit card bank transfer are accepted.
Using cashback
Open the Wuben page at daily cashback, press the shop button and order as usual. The current rate (5%) is shown on that page. In your free account the cashback first appears as open and becomes confirmed once Wuben has reported the order, normally after the return window. If you send an item back, the cashback for it is deducted. A code from another site can cost you the cashback, so close other voucher and cashback tabs while you shop. Current offers are listed on the shop page and we check them daily.
