Buying a Modmo e-bike: countries, EU shipping, 15-day returns and cashback
Modmo sells the SAIGON e-bike, with models such as the SAIGON+ and the SAIGON S, only through its own website. The store is built country by country, which matters for delivery, so this guide covers the countries in the selector, the free EU shipping, import taxes, the 15-day return, the warranty and how cashback works.
Countries in the store
The page asks you to select your shipping country before you buy, and it states that an order can only be shipped to an address in the country you chose. The selector lists Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Prices are in euros in the euro countries and in pounds for the UK, with kroner for Denmark and Sweden. If your country is not on the list, the FAQ says the aim is to ship anywhere but not everywhere. When Modmo cannot ship to your country, it lets you know and refunds you in full.
Shipping and import taxes
Shipping is free for customers in the EU, and the shop says import duties and taxes are included there. For countries outside the EU, import duties and taxes may be billed to you by the carrier, and the amount depends on your country's rules. The United Kingdom is in the selector, but the FAQ speaks of free shipping for the EU, so look at the cart total for a UK address before you pay. The delivery time is not given in days, so ask support if you need a date. The bike comes fully assembled and test-ridden from the factory. To get going you straighten the handlebars, fit the pedals and charge the bike.
Cancelling and returning
Before the bike ships, you can cancel for free and get a 100% refund. After delivery you have 15 days from receipt to return the bike for a full refund. The condition is that you do not ride more than 100 km. The Modmo team then organises the collection and covers the shipping cost, so the return is free. Warranty, sizes and range
The banner promises a 5-year warranty on the frame and fork. Modmo's own components are covered, and the standard manufacturer warranty applies to third-party parts. The bike comes in three sizes: small for riders of about 140 to 155 cm, medium for 155 to 175 cm and large for 175 to 190 cm. At the strongest assistance level the shop quotes a range of up to 120 km, and notes that rider weight, terrain, temperature and level change this. The FAQ also mentions the Cycle to Work Scheme, offered to companies across Europe with rules that vary by region.

Open the Modmo page at daily cashback for the current rate (up to 3.5%) and the offers we check every day. Press the shop button, choose your shipping country in the store and order as usual. The cashback first shows as open in your free account and turns confirmed once Modmo has reported the order. If you send the bike back, the cashback for it is deducted again.
